I see that Scara is just writing words again and hoping that they fit the narrative.

Looking forward to him posting his first clip from GB news to prove some questionable point.

Behave, you know dammed well. I take great delight from it because I’m prepared to put my head above the parapet and argue the toss with the usual suspects and I get absolute pelters for it.

I sometimes watch RT, I also drop in on Al Jazeera and even France 24. Whatever ones political persuasion its good to look at different viewpoints. I think GBNews is OK and there was a need for it in TV media.

At the end of the day don't know why people are getting all frothy about it. No one forces anyone to watch anything

Ok, so you laugh at other posters because of the "pelters" you get from some of them due to your views and prickly confrontational style. I get that to a certain extent.

But you don`t address the question as to which posters are "squirming", and perhaps more interestingly, why they should be "squirming" in this case.

"Squirming" struck me as an unusual adjective to use...
 
I watched about 20 minutes of it......8minutes of Eamon Holmes selling rubbish to OAP's and 12 minutes of.....(I'm using this figuratively).....News?

Realised it's a channel just for the OAP who's obviously pining for the 'good old' days' when you could call a spade a spade.
Those that are permanently angry...but don't know why they are.
After a few hours of this, they are either asleep, buying a funeral plan off Eamon or considering euthanasia......Hopefully gone before Christmas.



And I don't mean the channel.....

I’m waiting for a positive comment from the usual suspects about GB news, surely one of you is impartial ? Or is it just a news channel for Nazis ?

Ok Lytham I except your opinion. I think that most news channels in this country are an absolute Left wing wank fest of wokery So for me it’s a refreshing change to the usual bile I have had to stop watching.

I'm not against it existence but the right wing should be striving for more than this dross, much as the left wing deserves more that the bloody Guardian, it's all a bit crap really with the BBC in the middle scared of upsetting anyone.
 
The one thing that does piss me off is that it’s actually had to come to this in the first place. If the news channels just tried a little bit to be a bit less bias then GB news wouldn’t exist.
 
I couldn’t get past the out of sync and cheap sets. I kept expecting the backdrop to fall down. I could see people’s feet walking past outside . Are they in a converted public toilet? Turned over to BBC but smug Dan was on so tried GMB. At least Richard Madeley was giving the Shadow Health Secretary some grief and making him squirm.

Everyone thinks the media is biased against their point of view though, it's difficult to see how The Sun, Mail, Express, Sky, Fox, Spectator and Telegraph haven't already got the right wing covered.

The left wing have the utterly atrocious Guardian and irrelevant Mirror (at a push).

I see there's a few companies beginning to pull their advertising from the channel. In 6 months it'll be adverts for erectile dysfunction, stanah stairlifts and adult literacy courses.

Westons have stepped in and said they will have Kopparbargs advertising slot as they said their ciders awesome and too strong for the soft lefty woke snowflakes anyway plus uk apples are miles better than these foreign ones 😉

Tbf I meant pear wine...as you say red was superior of blue. When it was slowly disappearing I remember I had to drive to a corner shop run by a very pleasant Asian gentleman in a side street in Preston to get it as it was totally gone from blackpool

I see the figures and demographics are in for the first night. Lots of pensioners and 82% belonging to the ABC1 category. The latter are hardly the group that are crying out for a voice because they're marginalised which apparently is the reason GB News was set up.

It categorises higher class, senior managers and middle managers etc. I assume some tuned in out of morbid fascination but regardless of them, as I said above, those groups are hardly marginalised.

I didn't realise it was set up to help marginalised groups. I thought it was a news channel with a slightly different editorial slant to other British rolling news channels.

I just think its lucky we have activist groups like the self-styled 'Stop Funding Hate' whose sole purpose is to threaten individuals and organisations that may have different political views to theirs. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with a society that thinks along those lines?

I think I know where your coming from Eagle although to be honest I'd say it's a tenuous link.

Not very surprising I know but it's funny how we are being informed about this channel from those who wouldn't dream of watching it.

It is clear that many posters have a problem with prejudice and intolerance, amazingly it would appear that it's the very same posters who spend half their lives on here warning us of the huge problems around prejudice and intolerance.

There will still be some residual adverts being shown due to the agency that books them.
To be fair, boycotts from the companies listed will have very little effect given who else is using the platform eg Amazon.
And it is funded by some serious money from abroad.
