They’ve been advertising it on absolute radio for weeks…..am I missing something isn’t there already dozens of news channels telling us the same thing…🤣🤣

Don't bother trying to find it on your telly, just come on here and you will soon find out everything that's happening on the new channel from all those who wouldn't dream of watching it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS - I don't have Virgin myself but I'm sure it will be on there.

It looks and sounds pretty cheap atm and I just don't like Dan Wootton on anything but give it some time to sort itself out.

I like the idea of not being so London-centric. That should induce some serious sneering from elsewhere.
 
Just popped over expecting some hard-hitting late night news. ‘Kate and Lilibet’, the queen cutting a big cake with a sword and, after these ads, Boris having a swim in Cornwall

It would be good if they could synchronise the sound with the images, too

I give it 6 months
 
I’ve just tuned in…after loads of ads, there was a bit of slapstick camping it up comedy journalism for around 2 mins then back to adverts…🤣…
 
Just done the same. It's a bit of a right wing wankfest with all the usual buzzwords. I'm pleased that those who have relied on Professor Dave down the pub for their news have somewhere else to go. Bless!!

It's a bit odd that a bunch of people who have spent their entire careers in 'THE MEDIA BUBBLE' are now pretending they haven't and what they really are is a bunch of common touch ordinary folk telling the truth. Quite reminiscent of a certain orange obese loser. I can't find one presenter who's had a normal working life outside of the very thing they're pretending to be against, opening by railing against lockdown is populist nonsense play 101.

An alternative news channel that actually promotes real investigative journalism with a range of voices would be welcome, not this lazy shouty bollocks from a bunch of careerist twats, Neil ** Oliver for fucks sake.

The Guardian does try in print sometimes, but it's right on Millie Tant journalism clouds everything, it's no fairer in reality than The Mail.

Someone looked at America, saw a gap in the market here and a bunch of media executives decided to fill it with a bunch of media professionals, POWER TO THE PEOPLE 👍

None of the above.I am almost 70 yrs.Until voting forms contain the aforesaid I won’t be voting.I do vote in local elections for who I think is most suitable.I am lucky I live in FY8.Fairly good Council compared to the lunatics to the north.

BFC87, I Am a big believer in the 'none of the above' option being available and I would tie that in with compulsory voting. In the meantime, however, turn up, do your duty and spoil your ballot paper. Spoilt papers are counted and the number published as part of the count.
