The whole Dylan Mulvaney ( man in a dress ) has placed the makers of Bud Light in a tight spot between a rock and a hard space. They now realise that diversity and inclusion has alienating them from 99% of their customers.

Nike used the same man to advertise sports bras which is an insult to real women that have worked hard and made great sacrifices to achieve success or even enjoy exercising for fun. It’s like a slap on the face for these women. Neither brands can apologise now as it would upset the alphabet people.

I think without insulting them it’s LGTBQIA2S+ but If I am wrong someone please correct me. I am confused because I thought there were just men and women when I was growing up. I didn’t know what Gay or Lesbian meant until secondary school. Things were simple back then. We were just told as kids not to speak to strangers or accept sweets or lifts. Now the kids get corrupted in primary schools and online.

Its a manufactured outrage, and to be honest the only real outrage is in the US.

Dont get suckered in, just ignore it, by letting it get under your skin and writing about it here you're falling in to the trap the advertisers laid.

If you disagree with it silently stop buying their beer. If you're right and a silent majority agree with you this type of advert will cease.

Though I have sneaking suspicion you weren't buying their beer anyway, which makes your reaction a bit pointless.

There’s an epidemic of kids who now think they’re the other sex. One in ten according to latest polls.

Social media is feeding them this gender fluidity ideology. Schools are either actively supporting/promoting it or are struggling to handle it and walking on eggshells.

Of course there’s folk who are adamant they’re born in the body of a man when they feel utterly feminine. But these gender dysmorphia cases are few and far between.

They’re certainly not one in ten. And it’s not one in five either - but that’s where we’re headed as this warped ideology is seemingly sponsored by big corporations. It’s crazy.

None of this was much of an issue until the covid lockdown. Then all of a sudden the huge surge in these youngster wanting to identify as the opposite was happened. Why? Because they were being exposed to videos on tiktok. They’re being influenced. It’s a social construct. Unless of course you’re in the camp that it’s always been one in ten, but they were afraid to speak up.

It’s nothing less than brainwashing of youngsters as they’re fed video after video, image after image, within a society where large corporations are reinforcing and promoting that this is a normal way of life. Normal to deny biology and live as the opposite sex, just because now you’ve decided that’s what you prefer.

I have always loved NIKE. But they have paid this man to promote sports bras. Let’s be clear, he’s not an athlete. He’s not sporty. He doesn’t have breasts. In fact he has a penis.

It’s a damn insult to women sports stars that NIKE have paid a man to wear and advertise a sports bra. He doesn’t need one. He has absolutely no use for one. Yet NIKE have jumped on the wokery bandwagon as they think it’s what they need to do or have to do to stay current.

I could understand it to an extent if the person had had surgery to create breasts. In that scenario they’d need a bra. But that’s not the case. He’s not had surgery. If anything, he would have better use for a jock strap. But no- cos that would go against the illusion. The illusion that this man can become a woman because he says so. And by donning a wig, a dress, and make-up, and waving tampons at the screen.

You seem very angry about it all. All that stress can be as bad for you as mayo if you let it.

No I’m not angry I am concerned. There’s nothing wrong with caring about things. I don’t live in a bubble of blissful unawareness nor am I in the ‘who cares?’ camp.

We have children reaching puberty, if not younger, who are having the basis of their very being, (and the security that brings), their gender indentity - as informed and affirmed by their parents since birth, ripped up and thrown in the air.

Young easily influenced and impressionable kids being barraged with gender changing videos from so called influencers and role models.

I think it’s beyond harmful to their well-being.

For adult women, who fought for their rights, they now have men saying they’re women, and invading their private spaces and their sports competitions. Many women are speaking out, at quite some risk of being cancelled, so it clearly is very frustrating for them.

To add salt to the wounds, despite most of the sports advertising budgets going on male athletes, NIKE allocate part of that budget to a man in order to promote a woman’s sports bra.

It would be understandable if they wanted to show inclusivity by having the trans person wear cycling gear or trainers or whatever. But a sports bra is something only a female athlete should wear and promote. If you disagree with that then that’s your right, but I feel it does a huge disservice to women.

I can understand why women are so upset. It can’t be easy for them and the elite amongst them don’t get rewarded with the sponsorship that a man in a dress TikTok influencer gets. Not only that it prances about acting like a silly care free school girl. He still has his wedding tackle and has a flat chest.

And don’t even get me started on men competitors participating in the deadlift competitions! Or any other sports where testosterone plays a key part.

Who is modelling it? A man with broad shoulders, a hairy chest, and a bulge where his tackle sits.
This is an affront to women. It’s twisted and wrong. Adidas could launch a trans swimwear range if they so wished. But to launch a women’s a range and market it at women, yet have a biological man, with all of their obvious physical differences, wearing it? Why? It’s weird.
These big corporations are trying to convince us that ‘woman’ now means men with penises that tell us they identify as women. Well not in my book. Never.
They can have their trans existence. No problem with that. But to do that by redefining what a woman means is unacceptable.

I wasn't aware of this, but now I am. From an advertising perspective.....job done.
 
Saw a great video discussing this woman's comments from a panel of business commentators.

She starts out by saying she is a business woman. She says the brand needs to get away from it's "frat" image in order to improve sales and brand profile. The profile of beer drinkers is 85% men. Yet due to a drop in sales she decided to alienate the majority drinker and push it to LGBTQ who represent a small % of the population and without prejudice are not at all beer drinkers. It makes no sense. They just needed a campaign with wild horses running across the great plains of America and a load of American flags and the job would be done.

They then went on to say that essentially she has fulfilled her job role and done nothing wrong as she would be working within parameters of inclusivity within the terms of her role. Which knocked off 30% of their sales in a week. Ouch.

I see Bud have now put her on "extended leave".

Saw something the other night showing stats of people under 18 identifying as a different gender or LGBTQ. It was staggering. The percentages were minimal in like 2017 and 2018 and from then on they have shot up to 25%. So that is 1 in 4 of children identifying as a different gender / LGBTQ.

They actually questioned if this could be classed as a form of grooming as kids are now bombarded with it.

I think there is a lot in that. I get called out for drawing peoples attention to it but there is a world of difference from a man in a dress at say a Christmas pantomime and kids in the States visiting strip joints with parents and handing the performers dollar bills. It makes my skin crawl and if you look on YouTube there was a huge row when they did a show at Blackpool library recently. It got infiltrated and filmed.

Precisely and what I have recently realised it’s an incredibly lucrative business to be in. The Bud Light lady that came up with the trans influencer idea thought she was just doing her job. There are a type of KPI grade all the big companies now comply with.

It’s the same with diversity and inclusion, try Googling a diversity and inclusion senior management job and the salaries are unbelievable. I read somewhere the BBC pay one more than the PM for a 3 day week!

They don’t of course actually really care about what they are spouting as long as the work keeps coming in. Training courses, videos, etc. everyone is riding the gravy train.

There are armies of academics now employed, choose to to read, through books all day long such has James Bond and meddle with them. It’s finding nice well paid jobs.

They must be laughing all the way to the bank knowing that nobody dare challenge them for fear of the consequences.

Younger people don't give a F but hang on - they've never had such levels of anxiety along with other mental health issues and the associated consequences such as self-harm. Younger people do give an F as they're so obsessed with pronouns and wanting to alter their biological gender.
It's either we've had generation after generation of repressed trans people amounting to 10-25% of youngsters, if not more, or our youngsters of today's generation are having their heads messed with by opportunists and perverts.

But the o/p wasn`t talking about any of that Malced, and neither was I.

The o/p was simply saying that alcohol sales of a certain brand have plummeted due to a specific advertising campaign, and was trying to imply that `wokeness` is the cause.

My point was simply that older people are more likely to be offended because it is the natural reaction of older people, and `twas ever thus.

Younger people are more likely to be open minded and receptive to `stuff`, and less likely to be clutching their pearls and having a fit of the vapours about an advertising campaign.

Therefore they don`t give a f*** about the advert.

And I don`t see an immediate link from a beer advert to "today`s generations having their heads messed with by opportunists and perverts".

I think Lost alluded to high salaries working in Diversity departments. Nothing to do with the profits made by businesses.

Well he doesn’t refer to diversity departments in the post I replied to. Just a reference to mysterious groups with questionable funding. 👀

Anyway it’s not an issue I’m especially bothered about and I’m sure the big corporates are well able to look after themselves. If the op is right, and being woke affects the bottom line, then I’m sure we’ll see changes in the approach. If the op is just another conspiracy in a long line of conspiracies promoted as part of the culture wars, then we won’t see any changes.

As a father to a 15 year old daughter who goes to an all girl's school, it's a ridiculously confusing and hard place to be - they all want to categorise themselves and be in groups and are bombarded with what they should say and how they should act. Girls get 'cancelled' from Whatsapp and friendship groups if they say something deemed to be non-pc.

I've told her not to worry about being a label, speak up for what she believes and just be herself, she's got her head screwed on thankfully.

What ever happened to just buying a pair of Doc Martins, dying your hair and getting a piercing to be different...
