Give 'em some slack

Wycombe and Oxford away we knew they were tough games and we lost 2-1 in each so its not like we got hammered, but if we dont get a result at home to Southend there will be some major fallout.

If we keep playing poorly attendances will drop, footy fans are fickle, its the nature of the beast.

Anyone who decides not to attend a game, due to bad performance, and claims to be a Blackpool fan is not a Blackpool fan. Simple as that!

Oh how clever of you Ms Garstang. Of course, (as you know) many of the team that played Oxford weren't at Blackpool for all of those 10 games. So, how about quitting the sharp repost in favour of supporting the team?
 
The manager clearly thought we needed new players. The owner clearly thought we needed new players. At the start of the season every fan thought we needed new players. We have had our first prepared for transfer window and brought in an armada of new players. They all deserve a chance to bed in and have the fans support so let’s get to it! If things don’t pick up over then next couple of months then I will be out with my pitchfork and flaming torch searching for a baldy Yorkshire bloke to run out of town!
 
I think Larry knew quite quickly that the squad was poor... He was hoping to get to the Jan transfer window in the best position possible but the results blew up earlier than he hoped... He now has basicly brought in a new team.... Who knows what will happen but let's hope for all fans of BFC we start a winning run.
 
It’s been six weeks since a Home league game and surely any genuine fan will want to be there.
Unless you have a genuine excuse or far to travel then I agree with tangerineextremist.
This is an important day and maybe Graysons last as Manager.
 
My biggest concern is, regardless of the players he now has at his disposal, that Grayson continues to send out teams with no identifiable formation leaving the left hand side so wide open the opposition have a field day.
 
Terry McPhillips team had worse players on paper than this. It finished tenth. We’ll get nowhere near tenth this season. That answer your question?
 
I think we will pick up points on Saturday and hopefully that will give the players the confidence that’s lacking and kick start a winning run. UTMP

Because we are in a new era. And because of that - along with a run of 11 games under SG without a win people are entitled to fcuk it off without being told they are not Blackpool fans. It's called choice.

Did you carry on going the last few seasons with the oystons in charge up until SS took over then? Be honest and if you say no then I suggest you climb down from this high horse you've built yourself. If you say yes, well....although we all have reasons for doing things, at least we know what we're dealing with.

I can maybe understand boycotting becuase the owner is bad and not investing in the team, but when the owner is investing in the team but results aren’t going our way it’s not an excuse to not attend matches

I did attend matches under the oystons, I didn’t really have a problem with them to be honest

yes a fan has a strong allegiance to one particular team or cause, it doesn’t say anywhere you can’t voice your disapproval or even not attend a game (not that I am doing), which I think was the original point 😭

How can you say I dont care about my club, I love my club more than anything and as for the ‘fans’ they aren’t proper fans if they boycotted

The same way you say those who dont attend now are not proper fans. In the real world, things work both ways so maybe it's time you joined it and see things from both sides.

However, I think many of us will be wasting our time attempting reasoned debate with someone either so blinkered or on a wind up.

I actually don't think there is much frustration with the team. I believe we have a decent squad with talented players who should be challenging for the Top 6. I think it's the inept tactics that Grayson is employing where the frustrations lie (and I'm quite a moderate rationale fan who just can't see what he's doing).
