Graham .. but no Gopher!

I remember the police hassling him at Tranmere for kicking a board at the side of the pitch, can't remember if he got arrested or not.

Just seeing his pic brings back some great memories. Have I imagined one of his mates putting a firework in one of his pockets or his bag? What a character😄

Such a sad day, the home game after he passed and his mum came to it, brought his scarf with her.

She stood up at the front of the South Stand afterwards, and the whole ground applauded as we left. That summed Graham up - everyone knew him, even if they didn't.
I was one who didn’t but sang ‘Graham, Graham’ when he arrived on the south paddock

I was only telling my lad about Graham on our way to Southampton as I knew Graham would have loved it. Had the honour of looking after him at Torquay when police wanted to throw him out for being drunk and we missed the 1st half as he spent it being ill in the toilets. Was a great bloke and our hero in the South Paddock. Please nb he wasn't a drinker probably only had a pint of cider.

Last time I remember seeing him was driving to Bradford City away. Was going through Shipley I think and he was sat outside a pub on his own with his scarf hanging from a tree 😁

I got to know Graham quite well as we used to end up on the same coach going to away games mid ‘80’s. I’d guess he’d be 3-4 years older than me?

He had a really long scarf that I think his mum had knitted and a couple of times it would end up out of the window or sunroof trailing down the motorway

As others have said what a legend he was and sadly missed

Got to chat to him a few times over the years, didn't know him per se.

That photo brings back so many memories from a different era.

Only supporter I can think of who has his own chant.

"We've got three piers and Graham Berry"

Be nice to hear it sung every now and again - just for old times sake.
