Hamilton = dog shit

When he tried to chest it then bring it down with his feet to then let it go out of play 😆 I’ve got zero confidence in him in those situations even when he’s 1 on 1 he can’t beat a man he’s got no skill whatsoever

I see you missed the Stevenage game then. Convenient.

If you watch him closely he couldn't beat an egg with the man in front of him.

I genuinely feel for him because Critchley is making him do some things he can't.

All defensive duties need removing and telling the team to hit the ball in front of him.... It's that fuckin simple Critchley.

It’s not been the best of seasons for him, granted! Maybe if he moves away from Mercedes to a better car - he’ll come good again 👌

See him dawdling along for their 3rd and that's why he is at shit defending and he fuckin knew it when it hit the back of the net.

CJ was a car crash tonight, worst performance from him in a long time, touch was awful, crossed it to the opposition twice in the first half

I think it's a bit harsh to have a go at CJ.
He is a very very limited player who can only really do one thing but he does that one thing very very well so is always dangerous if played correctly. We all know this already.

We've known for at least a couple of seasons that his strength is running on to a ball played in front of him. As posted above, Critchley isn't playing him to his strength. Watching him trying to trap the ball whilst facing his own goal is painful to watch.

Not his best game but had some moments 2nd half.

He's not the one to highlight for why we drew and threw it away, a few others in front of him first.

He's been good this season.

Honestly enjoyed both the wide players today.I think I’m in a minority on that.

CJ touch was clumsy tonight it’s a fair point raised above and the end product from both him and Dale was poor but for tempo and intensity and seeing plenty of the ball I thought they were both positive in that sense.I’ve seen worse wide play from us this season on many occasions.

I thought they even showed moments of it in the first half but second half was much better.

For me the issue was the disruption in defence with Casey’s suspension. Some terrible defending for two of the goals.

Totally agree, terrible thread, terrible OP and some bollox responses
Yep, unbelievable really, I can only think those hammering him must be on the beer.

CJ was buzzing when we got the 3rd goal, he wants to play well, loves the fans and tries his best.

Give him a break for fucks sake.

I'm not going to get on his back, I think he's.....ok..
However, I was buzzing when we got the 3rd, I love the fans, and I would try me best.....

He's Aidy Forbes, without the end product, and that's saying something

Second highest rated Blackpool Player on the pitch tonight, behind Carey. Consistently one of our best players all season so far.

Not many Managers at this level that wouldn't welcome him with both arms!

1st half was poor, much better 2nd half.

Wonder why that was?

It could be that Dembele gets close to him and can slide him in and feed him the ball but crucially when he’s being pressured can give him someone to pass to.

Which nobody in the 1st half did. Having more attacking options on the pitch frees him up.

Not been on for a while then I remembered why. Just seen this thread and the hateful remarks about one of our own players who has been in very good form lately. I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority of posters on this platform are absolute pond life or to be blunter, scum. The booing after the game by the feral filth masquerading as BFC fans is an insult to the manager and players who ultimately tried their best. No wonder anxiety creeps into their game with this baiting mob screaming abuse.
Hopefully the team go on to get promotion this season, but if not then the scum giving them abuse both on here and at the ground will only have themselves to blame.

Fans need to leave CJ alone he’s had a great season so far. They all make mistakes.
Olé ole ole ole CJ CJ

The thread should be taken down.

Callum Connolly pinged a 50 yard pass (I know, I was shocked too) second half, CJ took it first time round his man, left him for dust and created another chance. Some of you are desperate to find a scapegoat - may I suggest you look at centre halves / keeper because we’re leaking goals for fun!

You’ve got to accept what CJ is, which is a likeable lad who always tries hard but is very much a confidence player.
I disagree that he can’t beat a player but he can only do it one way, kick it past and run, but he’s unplayable at it. Very frustrating player but I love that he’s ours!

Exactly this. He is a wonderful human being and a very sensitive caring one and this abuse is absolutely disgraceful. We have conceded TEN goals in our last 3 matches, so the problems all don't stem from CJ .

Another lad that’s been killed on here recently, he played well when he came on last night.

He’s been running at them and beating players with great close control and dribbling skills recently. He’s grown in confidence and I’ve been surprised as to how much ability on the ball he has since we’ve been backing him.

Really doesn’t deserve to be singled out like this at all.
