Very promising indeed clapLie in, coffee served in bed, awaiting veggie cooked breakfast. Promising signs from 2 teenagers who are rarely seen before 11.
Very nice !View attachment 6651my eldest has just given me this to go with the rest of my BFC memorabilia.
I'll put it up tomorrow

My daughter, who has the worlds shortest attention span when it comes to films went to the cinema to watch the Peter Rabbit film with my sister in law and her family.Kids got me a big bar of 'Toberone ' chocolate and a ' Grumpy Git ' Mug . I'm taking them to the cinema to watch Peter rabbit 2 ! As there's not much decent on and then I will come home and have a few beers
Hope she doesn't read this site or that would be end of the suprise. It was the missus 60th birthday lasr wednesday and we've had a fantastic week doing lots of walks around Garstang, Carnforth and Knott End and going out for meals.. Today she thinks she's just going up to my lads just for my Fathers day unaware that it's gonna be a surprise birthday party for her with all the Family there ready to greet her. That's 29 of us so just about conforming to the restriction of 30 for outdoor do's.
Shame is that we have to restrict it to 30 as there's so many friends who I would have loved to have been there too.
At least the weather is decent. The forecast for today was terrible for the last couple of weeks.
indeed. Just an hour to go before we set off and she's having a nap. It's what you seem to do when you get to 60.Hope she doesn't read this site or that would be end of the suprise.
Just been for a walk along the beach with my two dogs ,then to local bar ,for some tapas and a couple of beers (unfortunately not with my daughter who now resides in Dubai (stil got e card though) now back on appartment in the cool ,watching sky sports news and having a glass of vino blanco Thais for the thought LALA,what you up too by the way.The dads amongst you

I had a lie in this morning - was offered breakfast, but declined as coffee is enough for me.
Spent ages with text messages from my two daughters - one 200 miles away, the other 2500 miles away. I've banned Skype messages in the mornings as it would be too scary for them.
Mrs Grumps made me a chicken curry for lunch and we drunk a bottle of Pinot Grigio with that. Since then I've strolled around the garden, but mostly been watching the India-NZ test match.
Will switch to Italy-Wales shortly and crack open some beers.
Here's a Dad Joke:
I once hired a limo but when it arrived, the guy driving it walked off!
I said "Excuse me? Are you not going to drive me?"
The guy told me that the price didn't include a driver…
… so I'd spent £400 on a limo and have nothing to chauffeur it!

hope he’s doing ok Junior.Spent three hours in A&E with my lad earlier today, came off his bike, broken little finger knuckle later. Not the best Father’s Day.
Was initially happy at the thought of not being able to write in school, not so happy when I explained his pot will be on for 6 weeks, meaning no bike riding scootering, playing football etc. Otherwise he's finehope he’s doing ok Junior.
