Why would anyone go to Preston?I wouldn't recommend Turkey at the moment, or China, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, lebanon, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Cyprus, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Ethiopia, Guyana, Venezuela, Burkina Faso, Sudan, the Red Sea, Somalia, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Mali or Preston.
Lala, I've got a cousin in NY State, a little place called Leeds.New York in February. Probably Paris late Summer.
Absolutely, especially in the summer but you can get cheap flights in the winter if you don't mind the cold. A friend of mine visited in December and he loved it. My Mrs is from Stockholm so I can give some great local recommendations if you do decide to visit@Sven would you recommend Sweden / Stockholm for a short break?
I wish I had the money to pay for all the holidays I've bookedWish I had the money some of you have.
It's an incredibly small city.Going to Rome on the Sunday after Fleetwood at home ( remarkable coincidence). 20th wedding anniversary gig. First visit. Any Rome advice most welcome.
We are going to Vancouver Island at the beginning of July; visiting relatives. I somewhat regrettably thought end of may was to avoid due to play offsCanada in July. Vancouver through to Calgary via a number of places.

I'd do the Roman Forum (runs by the Colosseum) too. Got a guide who really brought it to life. Absolutely brilliantIt's an incredibly small city.
Everything you want to see, you'll get to (if you get what I mean)
The two places that I'd pre book for, if you really want to go are the Vatican and the Colosseum.
Don't eat in the main tourist areas, you'll find just as good places off the main drag, not pay as much and the food will be better
You'll love it me 'n' Mrs have been 3 times
Appreciate that WizzerIt's an incredibly small city.

Went to St Malo inter railing in 1980 after watching England in Italy. Lovely place. Took a day trip over to Jersey while we were there.Hope you both enjoy Alberta and British Columbia
We went to Canada in 2019, coach trip from Calgary to Banff (beautiful place) and Jasper, then the Rocky Mountaineer Train through the Rockies, then onwards by ship to Alaska. Visted Victoria on Vancouver Island, the weather seemed to improve by about 5 degrees just by taking the ferry to Vancouver Island. Excellent holiday
Doing St Malo in Brittany (historical walled village) in June, and North West Scotland later in summer.

The Pantheon is probably my favourite building in the world and an absolute must on a trip to Rome. As you say, do the research first to truly appreciate it.Have a look at the Pantheon too but do some research on why it's unique.
