Honest question asking for honest answer

Do you honestly believe that BFC will finish next season above FTFC?
Simple yes or no will suffice thank you, actually wish I was knowable enough to stick a poll up 😉

Honestly, I think they’ll be challenging for automatic and we’ll be challenging for the play offs. Should make for some interesting matches tho

Think I need to see a few games with the new players and Critchley in charge before saying anything.
Even so, things are definitely going in the right direction.....and 20/21 should be a season where we reclaim the Fylde.....bye bye Andy..!!!

I think we will have more strength and depth. But I expect Fleetwood to be one of our rivals in the upper echelons of the division. Honest appraisal.

Not about finishing above Fleetwood, it's about finishing above as many teams as we can to finish as high as possible. Next season, whenever it starts, is going to be a marathon more than ever, the games will come thick and faster than ever. Squad depth is going to be more important than ever. A good starting 11 with no cover is only going to take a team so far. When the injuries and suspensions kick in and its 2 games a week, each and every week, games will be won and lost based on the squad depth, not a wonderful 1 to 11

This thread is about whether you think we'll finish above the cods.

Here’s me thinking my OP was simple enough.

taking off the tangerine tinted specs, If they play like they did in the playoffs (fast passing footy) they will muller lots of teams next season. we still have lots of positions to fill and a team to gel, I hope we do but its going to be a tough ask.

At the end of the season* the table showed they were better and more consistent over the games played. They therefore start from a stronger position. That aside, we will be stronger than last season on the pitch, I also believe we will be more settled off it. Clearly there is a long way between now and the start of the new season, 6 weeks of coming and goings will have a big say in who finishes where.

Right now, I think we have closed the gap considerably but still a couple short in key areas to be top 6 challengers.

If they play like they did in the playoffs they'll pick up one point every other game. 23 points isn't promotion form plus two sendings off per game isn't sustainable 🤣

On paper it's a far stronger league next season than this so i'm saying that neither of us will be in the mix when it matters.

Currently with the squad as it is now 5th-8th as defence and midfield are no stronger defensively. If that gets improved on, then play offs with an outside chance of automatic.

their play deserved more... I was talking about how they shifted the ball about not the end result :)

Yes, to directly answer the OP, I think we will finish above Fleetwood. It will be close.

Do I care? Not really. I hope and think we are looking at a promotion challenge this coming season. Playoffs I think is achievable, but I think Critchley may have what it takes to assemble a squad capable of automatic. The Cods should be challenging for promotion again too.

I think Fleetwood hit their peak this season so will slide down the table with crowds dwindling , so yes we will finish higher .

We can't doubt that Barton has had a good season. Therefore, he might just get a better offer, that is if he's still free. 😉
I think we'll be above The Cods at the end of season.

I have asked WHO.
I have sought advice from my Chief medical advisors.
I am waiting on advice from the EFL.
My Pet cat believes.
I will defer until January.
