Hottest Game you've attended?

Got to be QPR away on the opening game of the season for me. I just remember being wringing wet at the end of the game and watching the sight of Steve McMahon going redder and redder (partly because of the sun, more out of rage) as the game went on!
Yes. And wearing a black kit. Whatever happened to Kirk Hilton?

We had tickets to go on the London Eye the morning of the game, but it wasn't going because of the heat. Rebooked for when we Brentford in October.

There was athermometer near me at the 2010 final showing 101 farenheit. That's the hottest I've been in watching a game.

I was at both, maybe the fact I was in the shade at Loftus Road but in the sun at Wembley. 😁
We were there for the weekend - the one time I've flown to a game. Remember the tube closing so we tried a bus - needed to get off that as it was unbearable.

Doncaster & QPR the 2 that spring to mind. Some shade at QPR but Doncaster was full on sun attack.
Think we played in black both games ? N got stuffed too

Expand please....
It was very hot, we were drinking all day, got tickets late on & ended up in the French End Bryan Robson scored after about 20 seconds. After the game I must had fainted outside the ground & was woken by Spanish medics. Found my mates, fell asleep outside the bar they were in, woke up again, in the bar, more beer.

Played in all black kit!! Was Wellans sent off? Hottest recorded day ever for league football, 100f+. !!!

Cardiff for me too.

Went to the season opener at Donny but don't remember it being overly hot. I was too busy being pissed off with Ilic for ruining the start to the season.

Got to be Sahara Wanderers v Masii Monday.

140 in the shade and it took 8 hours to get to where we thought the concourse was. When we got there they'd taken it away!

I asked if the stadium had air conditioning and was told yes and was given a bottle of Head & Shoulders.

got to be play off final at wembley v cardiff (and couldnt get any water once the refreshment bar closed just after half time)absolute joke ,children getting very stressed ,i believe they opened up again around 15 mins from the end.

Was visiting my brother in Philadelphia about 25 years ago and my dad was working for LUFC at the same time who just happened to be playing DC United whilst i was there. My Dad organised for us to pick up some tickets from LUFC'S team hotel for the match which was played in the RFK Stadium and it must of been 100 degress which was to much for me as a strawberry blonde! Was also at QPR and Cardiff ( but wasn't at Barnet!)

Cardiff in the final was hot facing the sun all afternoon, but for me it has to be the QPR opener.

I went for some water during the first half as it was unbearable and the guy said to me, “sorry mate I’ll have to take the lid off the bottle in case you throw it on the pitch” 😂😂 seriously!!

1991 Oxford Barracks Munster Germany Coldstream Guards vs Queens Own Highlanders Rugby Union so hot game abandoned before half time. Everyone got really drunk really quick by 6pm MP’s had no more room in the cells because of fighting. Queens own had only just finished their Norther Ireland training and hadn’t drank for 4 weeks.

Can't remember my hottest ,but my coldest was Hartlepool away ,middle of winter , sleeting , stone steps ,no roof ,dressed in an Harrington. Was ill for two weeks with flue.

Manly Masters v North Sydney. Played at Buderim on Gold Coast / Surfers Paradise. Played in it. 2 off with sunstroke first 40 mins. Water breaks every 10 mins. Hosepiped at half time

QPR for me, heat was unbearable that day. I remember not sleeping that night, just stayed up drinking at my mates house in London. The play-off final was just a pleasant day in comparison.

I'll never forget the QPR game. I wasn't there, I was playing cricket, scored a not out hundred and then took 5 wickets, it was so hot I remember waking up in the middle of the night with the word shin cramps in both shins I have ever had!!
