How are the Forest ticket sales going

The club have made no effort as usual to generate sales, and yes I appreciate they probably shouldn’t have to but we are in the entertainment industry and if people feel like it’s an event you get the waverers fancying a bit Of the action. There’s no premier league champions league on that night therefore everyone in the whole country who likes football will be watching, its on terrestrial as well. So it’s going to be up to us to boost sales and get mates down, if you’re flush buy a ticket for a mate if they’re out of work it’s only £15. Get grandpa out of his armchair and get him some sea air, let’s show the nation we’ve got something about us and that we’re only biding time in the lower leagues and will soon be back. We’ll even accept plastic liverpool and Utd fans for a one off night of rowdiness and get the famous atmosphere back for a one off special.
Rows of empty tangerine seats looks dreadful on TV.

I just hope the game is on with temperatures overnight next week likely to be at or below zero degrees and daytime temperatures not much higher.

It's completely cost prohibitive , several efl clubs have it and can't afford to turn it on . To protect the pitch over several days frost is in the region of £25,000 apparently, and it's millions to actually install it .
Worst still it switches itself on when you haven't even a game on!
Works with a thermostat so for example it drops below freezing after Weds until our next home a week on Sat you end up with all the costs.

At only £15 we should be expecting a 12000+ crowd.

Forest wont bring the 4000 some are expecting.
They'll do well to fill one half of the East imo.
I’ve had Forest fans who are not STH approach me for tickets so guessing they are expecting them to sell out to STH and members. I said no of course.

The efforts of the players in the original game deserve better tbh.

I suspect the weather forecast plus the fact it's on TV is having a big impact. But we're playing Premier League opposition at home, and the tickets are almost half price. How often does this happen? I wouldn't miss the opportunity.

'Get grandpa out of his armchair' - and while you're there get the wife out of the kitchen for a night and get some immigrants to spend some of their dole money on a ticket.

It was never going to sell well it certainly doesn't get my juices flowing for Forrest who we've played loads of times recently.

I've got my ticket but I can see why fans CBA the only suprise from me was opening the whole ground should have give the South to aways like we've done in the past for cup games.

I got mine on Friday. yeah its gonna be rockin. Lads and Dads . My son is coming over. HE loves footy at Bloomerz under the floodies. WE get to a few games mostly tue . HE is busy with our grandaughter on SAT . yes Hopefully a few casual supporters like ourselves will heed the call to Bloomerz .

The forecast isn't that bad, it's far colder down here.

It's a perfect night for a game, cold, clear, no rain, I really hope the supporters who live locally turn out for this. I realise this is coming from someone who won't be there but a 500 mile round trip at my age is not happening. But if I was living locally I would be there.

It's an FA cup replay against an EPL team with the prize of another EPL side in the 4th round and people were moaning about that draw too! Lots of moaning about a comfortable 2-0 home win yesterday, and also grumbling about going to the cup game against Bolton, when both Forest and Bolton will sell their allocation of tickets. what is wrong with our supporters? I can understand this who go to the away games moaning, they have reason too, we have been shite and yet people het pelters on here for moaning about that.

When you think we've had to watch the likes of Reading, Shrewsbury, Exeter and Carlisle you'd think our fans would welcome decent opposition. A genuinely big club with some great pedigree and littered with internationals. £15 is a bargain in the current football ticket world. Get yourself down, get behind the lads and enjoy what should be a good cup game. Way too many talk about the death of the FA Cup and then don't turn up to fixtures like this, if so, you are part of the problem I'm afraid.

What exactly do you think they need to do sell tickets ??? Everyone knows we’re playing Forest in a replay and it’s been promoted on SM and the website ??? I don’t know what you expect when you have a week to sell tickets ???

Another bash the club post …

Zzzzzzz
Why’s that bashing the club? I was at the game yesterday and absolutely zero mention at half time or on the electronic adverts that we were home against prem opposition that Wednesday at reduced prices.

I'm fuming as my work have put me on 6am (in Manchester) the next day when originally I was working the day of. Won't be in attendance myself unfortunately, as others have said the players deserve backing after the display at Forest

Why would it be higher than a league game?

Like I've said many times, we played them last season, played them this season already and they aren't a glamour prem side that bring out the casuals.

Still plenty of time for the sales and no mad rush if people aren't bothered about having their seat, as they'll be loads available.

Turn it off and on again.

And yet it was previous purchase history only, but its been available for anyone for a while now which suggests they haven't sold out. Maybe they won't.

Surely the majority on avftt are the grandpa's, so if we're relying on them getting their grandpa's to the game I think we might be disappointed.

Reality is people simply can’t be arsed.

How many went last season?
8750, that was in the championship. It was a bad season though.

They aren't a big pull given they aren't an established prem side and we've literally just played them the season before and this. Weeknight and on TV means exiles will be minimal.

That's a good point, at the games themselves using the big screen or advertising screens, promoting games wouldn't do any harm.

Then again people will know.

At the end of the day people have complained all season about how there’s not many big games to look forward to and then we get a decent home replay against Premier League opposition on tv and it’s still not enough.

All the excuses will come out over the next few days and people can make their points about club advertising but the reality is is that everyone knows we’re playing Forest on Wednesday and a lot of people know that for whatever reason they just don’t fancy it.

Expecting a lot of empty tangerine seats once again.

hello yes i am one. my son has childcare commitments / he is taking our grandaughter to Rainbows before he picks me up./.

think it will be on bbc lancs but picking it up where you are might be an issue. do you just go to bbc local radio and pick out lancs.

Why criticise the club......it's always the clubs fault isn't it?

How about us supporters get a grip of things, get a mate to go, try to shame a lapsed fan into going!
For my part I've bought my son a ticket and we're going together. Despite him being Pool through and through he's not engaging this season for some reason.
If I can't attend I let him use my ST.
We'll be standing together in the North on Wednesday. Can't wait 👍

The games on live on ITV so that's my saving grace.

You can't get Radio Lancs outside of Lancashire on digital radio, I've never understood why that is, you think you'd be able to tune into any digital station you wanted to.

TTV do the radio comms for next to nothing for the season and away and midweek games and then there are obviously other ways to watch the game too. When I lived in St Annes and then Blackpool I never ever missed a home game or hardly any away games for years, If we move back in the next couple of years, which is a distinct possibility, then I will go to every home game including friendlies and a lot more away games as I can go on a coach.

Is it not about supporting our team?

Too many people making up excuses. It's FIFTEEN QUID. 3 PINTS, 3 COSTAS, 2 PIE CHIPS AND GRAVY FFS.

"... and while you're there get the wife out of the kitchen for a night ..." But what if she still requires a bit more time to clean the bathroom and vacuum the carpets? Or have you never heard the saying, 'A woman's work is never done'? Come on, man - time to get upto speed
