How are the Forest ticket sales going

When I said Forest won't bring much more than 2k, I was called clueless and was told that Forest have waiting lists blah blah. Funny.

Anyway, think most would rather us win at Bristol Rovers.

Fans are a bit pissed off with the league form and this unfortunately will have an impact on FA Cup sales. There is a severe lack of enthusiasm at present. People can say 'it's a poor do' all they want but it doesn't change anything. Lastly, Forest are a big club but not exactly a big pull for a casual fan.

Anyone looking at Bristol citys sell out crowd tonight on tv with a pinch of envy? Unless there is a mass surge in sales our crowd and atmosphere tomorrow night will sadly be pathetic. Are West Ham a bigger draw than Forrest?..marginally maybe. I know the Bristol catchment area is bigger but come on..we are looking at < 3 thousand home tickets sold so far..and I'm being generous there. Let's hope some dry settled weather boosts sales tomorrow.

Definitely a lack of enthusiasm.
There shouldn’t be though, we should be buzzing and aiming for promotion.

There should be. People are not buying into this season and there is a huge disconnect. Our away form has killed this season. An FA Cup game against a lowly PL club is not going to change that as sad as that is.

Safety and Security team 😀It’s like we do everything possible to deter people from attending. Is it really beyond the realms of possibility that we open the other side and if 100 Forest fans on the day make a late decision to go they be allowed in? Anyone would think they were policing the Gaza Strip and not a few dozen extra law abiding people.

Brilliant😂😂

"a resulting request from the hosts' safety and security team to limit sales"

WTF - that sounds like we are asking them to sell less tickets?
Presumably they'll fill the South East and it's not worth opening the North East?

We've bought our usual ST seats in the South, this thread has left me thinking we might be a bit a bit lonely😲

Depressing thread to be honest

We've sold over 5,000 home tickets according to other posts.

There should be people locked out begging to get in

Shambles
When was the last time people were locked out begging to get in? Not even for a league game derby. A replay with a club we drew last season isn't going to do it, clearly.

Some completely unrealistic expectations on here. It's like people have ignored the numbers we've been getting all season and thought more than we get for a league game will just rock up.

We’ll bizarrely when I was young I used to turn up to league matches 2 hours before kick off and that wasn’t just Sir Jimmy Armfield’s last match (which yes, I attended)

Personally I find it chilling that such an opportunity to support the team and town isn’t being witnessed live by almost a half the ST holders

It’s a frightening example of apathy

To the fans that go I hope you enjoy the game of a generation and we get to Bristol

Staggering

Unfortunately we’re not as big a club as some think. Quite a lot of our ‘fans’ are fair weather fans who haven’t got it in their blood and have only been watching us in relative recent times. We go 2 down there’s a mass exodus. I do feel that tv and illegal streams are hurting attendances generally though. Football needs fans in stadiums.

It's cold and on TV too.
They're a far bigger championship club against a more established prem side.

Bolton vs Luton. Attendance: 10,878 (751 away)

So 10k home fans and some think we should have been getting 10k against a side we played... last season.

Bolton can get more than 20k home fans at times, probably average 19k.

Should they de disappointed? A bit over half their usual amount. Half of our usual amount would be a little bit under 5k btw, 4.7k maybe.

See my last post, is it apathy at Bolton too? The cup doesn't hold the same sparkle it used to unless it's a big prem glamour side. Add in the factors mentioned many times on here and the fact a decent chunk are exiles. You can see the drop of for weeknight league games.

It saddens me that people have lost the love for The FA Cup, I really don’t get it or the apathy about tomorrow’s game

I’ve been reasonably impressed by the gates we’ve achieved this season but the lack of atmosphere is also very saddening, it’s not like we’re playing that badly at home.

wtf is going on?

And why are the Blackpool fans not going to this superb opportunity to smash a Prem Team - the only one we will get this season ?

A few factors I think. Hangover from last season. It feels a bit like 'back to square one' after the promotion and consolidation in the championship. Last season was miserable.

Expectations were high at the start of the season. I think many thought that we would bounce back up. Reality has set in.

Away form. Enough said about that. It almost has a feel of inevibility about it now whenever we play away from home.

Style of football. I think this is contributing a lot to the poor atmosphere. It's hardly edge of your seat stuff. It's more chess like than anything.

The season hasn't caught fire and we are so inconsistent. The fans need some hope but there's still time...

All fair comments.

Man City away, their first game in the 3rd tier.
So it doesn't happen anywhere near for any recent games yet some exiles on here are shocked that people aren't breaking the door down and more fans than we get for league games aren't going. 🙄

The club have been doing it this season, because of the problem with flares and other items thrown and warnings from the football authorities
More a token gesture for the authorities then. Not great PR in my opinion.

I see Bristol Rovers have sold out for their FA cup replay against championship side Norwich tonight.

Bet itv wish they were showing that game instead now.

It's going to be difficult to justify our self-proclaimed "12th man" shown live on nationwide TV tonight if we don't snap up a lot more tickets today.

Going to be as flat as a pancake and probably out sung by forest - unfortunately not a great advert for BFC
