How good was the atmosphere vs the bottlers?

8/10 for me, bouncing most the day.

We need to keep that up more this season in other games.

Get it consistently back to what it was last season.

Not great. Decent in patches. Superb last 15 mins. This season fans need be lifted by the team where as last season they didn’t. Only natural with everything that has gone on and second season.

Not sure you can say it wasn't great, was great before the game, during much of the 1st. Took a dip naturally when they scored.

From about 65 mins onwards was bouncing non stop almost.

It was also a poor performance on the ball for much if it.
 
have to agree with ATG. It was pretty flat for a lot the middle part of the game with the North being very quiet. Not really a critcism but clearly nerves kicked in. And as good a song as it is, pretty much the only song was the Patino song and so many of the north just didn't join in.
 
Was a bit flat from when they scored till about the 55th/60th min when they were on top. Apart from that was very good and kept the Patino chant going for a good 10/15 minutes after the game. 👍
 
Well the manager and the players said it lifted them so it must have been ok. In fact Patino specifically stated we back the team when they weren't paying well - I guess he compares to watching Arsenal who's fans are as fickle as the Nobbers.

Yes it dropped when they scored and it was tense at 1-1 but the North did it's thing from 60 minutes until beyond full time.

I do think we need to make sure we celebrate the team and club as much as the individual players (even if the songs are very catchy!) especially at the end of the match. But that's just being a bit picky 😂

I think we judge ourselves quite harshly at times; there's very few grounds where the home atmosphere is as good as ours as regularly as ours. It's not been as good this season generally - but it's still up there.

With a bit of momentum it will get up to last years levels.
 
Felt very proud to be a fan on saturday and the great atmosphere contributed to that. Yes it did get a bit flat at times but it was always going to be stressful to watch.
 
I thought the atmosphere was amazing before,during and after the game. I looked around all sides of the ground and it was fantastic to see the north , north east ,west and south all involved with the chanting and clapping. Was wonderful to see

Once Carey decided to have an input with that mazy run and pass for Charlie to score the second goal, the ground erupted. The atmosphere up to and after the final whistle was brilliant. The south were feeding off the north and even us oldies in the west we’re giving it plenty.

That is how I saw it and back to my point about the players needing to lift the fans; not the other way round. The atmosphere after the goal though was superb. Not just the North but the South as well. Everyone contributed which even last season was rare.
