How is Sadler any better than the Oystons?

Something that has been playing on my mind for a while now. Lets just take a look at the facts.

Both quick to sell off our 'star' players on the cheap and at awful times and then not re-invest back into the squad. Bowler, Adam, Hoolahan etc
Both consistently made poor management choices. Critchley and Appleton have both failed to live up to the hype. The list of failed managers was endless under the Oystons as well.
Oyston took the unprecedented step of suing fans - Sadler has started down that road with a few tellings off for the fans via statements etc - that will just be the start.
A constant string of lies and false promises - Whyndyke Farm under the Oystons and now the East stand and training ground Sadler has been harping on about for years has all gone quiet.
Sadler has got ticket pricing etc totally wrong which reflects in the shocking amount of walk ons we have on a match day. I don't think we are selling even 1k match tickets after season tickets.

To be honest the list is endless and I could go on and on. There are red flags everywhere and I feel like Appleton is going to take the brunt of it, unfairly imo. It is fast becoming clear where the problem is and I just hope it isn't too late before the majority of you wake up and realize it.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

He isn’t cleaning the club out of its own money.
I mean - what is selling our best player, making basically no permanent signings and filling the team with young loans doing?

All whilst stringing the fans along, with a training ground and east stand that will definitely not happen.

We have to give some slack here. The Bowler deal was very late in the window. We also know that the land deal for the training ground isnt cover for housing and business development as plans are in. And Sadler hasn’t paid himself a Bowler dividend to take the cash out of the club.

The owner doesn’t pick the team, the owner doesn’t choose the tactics. The owner gives the manager this freedom. Sadler has invested a lot of money, time and effort to improve the infrastructure of the club. We can’t blame him for a couple of bad games where the manager perhaps got his tactics wrong. Give things time. Rome wasn’t built straight away. We need time to get things right. 3 seasons ago we were struggling in league one. Patience my friend.

And in 12 months we will be back where we started, in league one, still without a training ground and a squad severely lacking in numbers and quality as it is made up of loans.

So the question is, as it is looking more and more likely we could go down every week. Where exactly is the progress we have made?? Because I can't see it.

A lick of pain on the stadium just doesn't cut it I'm afraid.

Why don’t you adopt a different outlook ie glass half full instead of empty

You ll feel a lot better

Selling bowler was a sound business decision
And comparing Simon Sandler to the previous owners is a joke...
I believe he wants what's best for the club.
The only decision I disagree with is the current managers appiontment.

This post is the worst use of the internet since Trevor Sinclair decided to join Twitter.

I went to the game today and it was ** awful but it happens, I’ve seen far worse at a lower level.

We have an owner from Blackpool, who genuinely cares about the club and the town. Arguably the stuff off the pitch is more important than the here and now because helps the community and leaves a legacy for future generations.

The previous owners winged it, got lucky, and illegitimately stripped our football club at the detriment to the town. They had an opportunity to build a legacy but chose personal gain.

I genuinely don’t know what to say to someone who can’t appreciate the difference between the two, I find it astonishing.

For a start, it only took Simon Sadller 2 seasons to get us in the Championship, not 30 years with someone else's investment as was the case with Oyston.

To even consider comparing SS to the Old Rapist and his family is in itself totally disrespectful to a man who has given us hope and promises that have, so far been kept.

I would think it nigh impossible to conjure up a new training ground and build a new East Stand in the timescale that you appear to be looking at. I would also ask you where all the rust has gone from the stadium structure, where the ploughed potato field that we used to play on has gone, where the lies have gone and so on.

Since SS and his backroom staff have been in charge, we have had major lockdowns, due to the pandemic, and therefore a drop in takings for the club and indeed the owner. The club have weathered the storm and we were promoted earlier than we were promised. We had a shaky start to our first season back in the second tier and, yes, we are having a shaky start to this season, but give the team and the manager a chance.

It would appear that you are one of those who want milk and honey immediately that the promise of it in the future is made.

Bigger teams than Blackpool are struggling just look at the make up of division one and even two.

Be patient and I'm positive things will come good.
