There would be a riot TBH; he is well loved. The Board would need to make a mega appointment immediately if he left. I am no Newcastle fan (they are my nearest team) but I felt they shower great pride and passion in their performance. The cheque book will be passed to Eddie in summer

That's what was reported in the sports press last week; however, checking on line, you're £200m appears to be more accurate. If only we'd have spent a small fraction of that improving our squad - we wouldn't be where we are now!
