Sorry but he didn't save our club
He bought a loss making business arguably in severe financial difficulty.

Since the purchase the losses have continued and he has had to put in millions of his own personal money to keep the club afloat.

How is that not saving the club ?

Need to pull their finger out and stop fleecing the fans of their hard earned shekels. Heard that Mucker top brass are having a powwow soon to plan the next move to get things back on track.

The way I look at itā€¦ If the choice is between a cheap shit football club or an expensive good football club, then Iā€™ll take the expensive option.

Good quality football costs money and so we either need more fans or for the ones we have to cough upā€¦.

Thereā€™s plenty of cheap and unsuccessful clubs out there to support.

Funny as fuck though to think that those amongst us who have never been anywhere near having what it takes to run a complex organisation may have the temerity to believe their opinion counts for a hill of beans. Particularly when contrasted to that of someone who had the balls to take on a basket case business and put the family silver at risk. We really should be more careful of how we use the space modern media affords us. The past few weeks have shown a minority to be disproportionately represented.

Good idea this poll cos it clarifies that AVFTT posters who can be arsed to vote (just 154 so far) believe that the club is being run well, despite the regular criticism of some people. 81.2% voting very good or perfect. 98.8% voting good, very good or perfect.

Surprising, surely, after a summer of such huge discontent! In which we lost a manager who apparently dished up god awful football, lost no players of any consequence to date, and made 4 good signings. It's all very confusing.

1 person voted average. 1 voted poor. Hmm. Nob End fan presumably.

Good but I don't get all the brown nosing about him shock horror wealthy man buys football club and then has to put some of his money in.

How much has DH at Fylde thrown in or AP at the Cods ten of millions it's was the majority do.

It's like those who bang the drum about this 30 million+ that's going on the new developments, Sadler has already come out and said he hopes to get the money returned at some point so that money will put on debt to the club.
Any new owner in the future if the debt is still there will have to pay it off as I can't see SS getting it back unless we get promoted to the PL.

Good for me, but I accidentally clicked 'Very Good' so the vote is null and void.

STOP THE STEAL!

*runs off to storm the AVFTT Capitol*

It's naughty putting names visible on a poll.

And to be fair the OP asks us a question "How would YOU describe Sadler's ownership so far?" - and then gives a selection of statements of their own choosing for people to select from. So chose a statement, not asking a question.
I had Voyeur down as being the teacher rather than the class bully.

Maybe an individual has a bad personal experience with the club and that forms a view but isn't willing to expand further.

I wanted there to be a good to very good option taking into account stuff we've probably not been privvy to in the background with the post-Oyston tidy up but there wasn't one to click on.

True. It is a choice of descriptions though!

Sorry pal your chatting shit Sadler has loads of money and should not be ripping us off for tickets and mascots and so on. Muckers will take a stand if they need to it is not on.

I donā€™t have a ā€˜chatting shit Sadlerā€™ ā€¦ in fact I donā€™t even have a horse.

Not sure it is, you get the choice to put with or without usernames for a poll, people are happy to post their unhappiness under their username anyway.

I'm sure the people who have issues would say them anyway.

Communication from the club needs to be better. Needs to be more proactive than reactive.

Everything else is going in the right direction.

Youā€™re having a laugh, rIpping us off, Ā£16 a match with ST or Ā£25 with membership? Our prices stand up well against other Championship clubs.

Money doesnā€™t seem to be an issue with the volume of beer consumed home & away. Not a criticism, just the reality of the situation. People expecting Championship football, investment on/off the pitch, but at prices from times long ago. Are we still expecting to pay Ā£1.50 a pint?

FFS, the club is trying to generate non-ticket revenue.

Be interested to see what exactly the Muckers will do, if they take a stand. First thing, understand the business plan and how essential it is for SS to generate revenue. Apart from the tickets, nobody is being forced to pay for anything else.

I think ā€œvery goodā€; perfect doesnā€™t exist, thereā€™s always room for improvement, but I picked perfect in the poll to offset the inevitable ā€œsecretā€ nobber vote šŸ¤£

Must be a wind up. The top brass recently had Appleton over in the Armfield and were praising him to the skies.

The big thing for me is the club is trying to be the very best it can be. As long as they do that, and the clubs future is secure for future generations, Iā€™m happy.
Promotions, relegations, clueless managers, useless centre forwards, magic midfielders are all just part of the fabric of football. I can forgive pretty much anything as long as decisions are made for the right reasons

Perfect given the obvious limitations such as finances and the many problems that were left by the previous owners. We have an owner now who like us adores this club and its history and the club is now in very safe hands. We are no longer watching league 1 and i expect us to consolidate our position in the championship. There is a real buzz about the place now and it is wonderful to listen to how loud our passionate fans are, Matesrates has it spot on for me.

What a great idea to have a Poll. Clearly 99% of people are behind him and are pleased with progress so far. I hope he reading this and sees the results. Because if he listened to the moaners on here, he would probably think what's the point.

Or he might learn a thing or two...

By moaners, you mean those who have an opinion different to others?
That's not me BTW, but it's annoying to constantly hear the same posters criticise those whose opinion differs from the norm and who don't overtly praise SS at every single opportunity.
Even the best leaders have their critics & they understand that.

Yeah I thought given the relatively poor ish feeling summer up until a week or so ago, with various things not being ideal and SS and BM feeling they had to answer questions, it'd be interesting too see what people thought overall.

Obviously this is overall and not just on one thing, but probably helps put it in perspective.

Also people on avftt get called not representative or negative, when infact the vast majority do support whats being done, even if there are things for the club to improve on.

Hopefully they do see it and it gives them a little boost, but also I'm sure they won't be resting on what they've done and want to make further improvements.

Very good. Obviously some areas still need improving but it will happen over time, Rome wasnā€™t built in a day and all that. If you think how far things have come on and off the field from the absolute shite he took over the difference is night and day

In reply to some of the comments on here, I think thereā€™s a difference between being ā€œambitiousā€ and being stupid. We all want the squad, ground and finances to be the best they can be but weā€™ve got to be realistic. Sadler has done a fab job so far. Weā€™re stable, got some cracking players since heā€™s taken over and weā€™re on the right track.
