Anyone going over for there on a Tuesday night has my utmost admiration, which you can deduce won’t include me though like everyone else will be there in spirit.
My Tuesday or any midweek games trips including the home games will be less likely now as autumn running into winter is beginning to happen.My better half is reminding me that I am getting on and a 120 mile round trip to Bloomfield Road on dark winter nights should be reigned in or she might well hide the car keys even for Saturday matches.
In fairness I did say when I retired,which is now nearly 7 years ago ,I would not go to every home game, which ok was not an issue in the boycott years or the pandemic, but now she is trying hard to hold me to the promise even if I have a Season Ticket
