I Give Up…..So called Fans🙄🙄

We’ve got

1/ The most prolific striker in the league
2/ One of the biggest talents in the league
3/ A squad that has a significant amount of Championship experience

And yet

1/ Two of our best players aren’t being selected with no explanation as to why
2/ We are seemingly unable to beat anyone in the bottom half of the league away from home
3/ We repeatedly play games without having a shot on target - particularly when playing sides who you’d best describe as ‘ struggling ‘
4/ We have no plan B for dealing with 3/ above
5/ We rarely play the best 11 available keeping certain players in the team whatever and leaving others on the bench with no apparent rhyme or reason
6/ We are unable to put a run together - only winning back to back twice as I recall

What a horlicks of a season so far
Steady on Tim or Ash will give you a banning order from Poulton coaches 😟

with regards to your opening line don't think it's an either/or, think its both. Otherwise two great posts from you and TAM.

For me it's now time Critchley is held accountable for his words, his team selections, formations etc. Too many games now certainly away from home where what we are seeing is simply not acceptable. I think it's getting very close now where if we continue to perform as inconsistently bad as we are doing then the crowd really are gonna turn on him. And probably rightly so.
You may well be right that it's both. Although looking at the squad I do find it hard to think they don't have enough to be performing better than they currently are. One thing that is probably worth considering though...After 24 games in the 2020/2021 season, we had 34 points (2 less than now) and were 16th in the table and 10 points behind 6th place. 11 games later we'd picked up 23 points and were in 7th.

The big difference for me - and I said this could be a problem at the start of the season - is that Critch has no credit in the bank because of how he left us. There's no patience this time round and he's being picked up on his (perceived) failings.

Who would like to embrace the following?

1) Sack Critchley tomorrow before Port Vale on Friday

2) Demand Sadler sells up and be prepared to start protest.

Unless your a Nobber or WUM or School Child.

“Grow A Pair” and Please come forward….

So either do that or “Fuck Off & Stop Being So Disruptive” leaving the owner, manager, players & club management to deal with the turbulent times OUR “Beloved BFC” is currently undergoing”!!!!!

Ashley. 🚌🧡
I was afraid this might happen with bringing Critchley back. A watered down version of the Appleton syndrome. Unfortunately those in charge had learnt nothing. Me personally just want us to win first & secondly perhaps with a swagger, whoever is the manager.

The fans have already started turning 20s. It happened at Fleetwood and it happened again yesterday, no wonder he didn’t come past the halfway line at the end

I was piśśed off the first time Critchley left us. Now I wouldn’t blink an eye if he left us again. I might even toast his departure. He wouldn’t be missed because he brings very little to the party. Imo he’s holding us back.

Nobody, and I mean nobody is calling for Sadler to go. But I do think he needs to be advised better. His managerial appointments are badly misjudged. If you buy damaged goods, don’t expect premier returns. (Larry Mk2, Appleton Mk2, McCarthy Mk2000, Critchley Mk2.)

yeah, i was there yesterday Mosser but i think he got off lightly. There was a chorus of boos but i didn't hear anything in mass unison actually against him. Won't quite say he is borrowed time yet but something needs to change or happen very soon. A repeat at PV won't wash and a poor start at home to Lincoln and he could well feel the anger of many more people.

Several in the bottom left hand corner of the standing section were giving it loads at the end after most of the stand had emptied out

Because most people don't and some of those that say they do on here are telling porkies.
At least he's honest. 👍
Not sure that most don't, there's plenty of conversation about TTV on a matchday and most people I know use it.

I hope you didn't see me fall then. 😉 We were right in the corner of that stand and rather go down the steps aisle i went down the small gap between the last seat and the stand itself. It wasn't easy and took me twice as long than if I'd gone to the aisle.🤣

Del Boy moment 20s?🤭

I've never been an advocate of changing our style of play to suit the opposition and I'm pretty certain that's something I've criticised Critch for in the past.
Critch Mk1 started with 4-3-3 which failed changed to 4-4-2 and variations on that. We did of course get promoted.
Critch Mk2 has us fixed on 3-5-2. I'm not obsessively opposed to that formation. It does work well enough some of the time and we do score plenty of goals but not against teams that simply set up to defend (home and away). The games we've lost badly we've completely dominated the possession stats but it's been ineffective domination. How we deal with that is where Critch appears to be failing. I believe we do have a strong enough squad but Critch does have his favourites who don't always seem to be the best players for the position he plays them in. Lots of criticism for CJ at WB but I don't think that label makes him a better or worse player. If he was a winger he'd still be required to defend. His stats of 2 goals and 6 assists are pretty good compared to his team mates.
I was probably the 1st poster to put Dobbie's name forward for the Manager's job (and I feel he is currently being very much under-used and under-valued) but I still think "Ditching the Critch" at this point in time is (**edit**) NOT the answer.

mmmm...do you mean "NOT the answer"?

Yesterday was another day when the passing was slow, behind people and when we got to positions to put the ball in, the delivery was woeful.

The goal conceded was a shocker, with a failure to close down out wide and a whole series of hesitancy from Connolly, Grimshaw and even their forward, resulting in a simple cross going into the far corner.

All in all, a day of no redeeming features other than a run or two from Dembele.

Far too many players had an off day, unable to do simple things, wasting what opportunities we had. I can't understand, for example, how so many players can't get the ball past the first man, but when those same players shoot, the ball sails over the top. A lack of composure in key moments.

We huffed and puffed, but once they had something to defend, that's exactly what they did, and we weren't good enough to break them down.

A bad day. Need to win at Vale Psrk, somewhere we don't normally do well.
As I said to you at half time I was looking forward to you posting something positive…..actually hoped you would have been able to 😢

I'm not happy with Inept away performances week in week out. We have every right to be frustrated.
Especially after spending £82 on that bollox yesterday (would have been £80, but the clown that runs the ticket office sent the away tickets back on Friday meaning about 300 of us had to queue up at the Burton ticket office for our match ticket all paying £2 extra.

Why is everyone so upset . I will tell you why . We don't hope our team will win . We expect our team to win. The reason being is that we have held our own against most the better clubs and deserved something out of the games . Now because of this ,we expect to win against the poorer teams. What we need is to have a team as poor as Carlisle's and then we would accept our defeats a lot easier. Less moaning on here and if we do win we are all grateful for it . That should please everyone.

Nobody is blindly accepting anything, everybody wants the team to improve. People can have more patience with the manager and people can react differently but you're implying people don't care which is just not true.

I think the thread was suggesting that fans should accept what was going on and depart to a different parish if they had a different view. I think a percentage of a fan base that tolerated everything the previous regime threw at them, do have previous.

I’m not going to claim to be an expert in appointing managers’ but as a general guide, I’d suggest appointing someone who doesn’t immediately divide half the supporter base from day 1.
Or pick a manager by using a consultancy. If you have to do that then maybe you should think about bringing knowledgeable football people on board full time. It raises serious questions for me. Not enough football knowledge at the top.
We miss Jimmy Armfield in so many ways.

I think your second sentence is just plain rude. Many of us who boycotted may not be happy with our current inconsistency, but see the reaction on here when we lose as little other than hysteria. Personally, did not want to see Critchely back, but he is, and after the disaster of last season, the club needs some stability. We are still in 8th place, we are not nearing relegation, yet the same fans who love to slag off other clubs for ditching their managers when they are near the playoffs, seem to want to get rid of the manager now? Critchley needs to use the analytical team he has, and work a way to win away, he needs to energise the players, and accept the blame when we don't.

As a fan of 50 years ( scary) I want to see us succeed, be back in the Championship, but I do not demand or expect it as the price of my support.

The big, big question I would ask anyone who wants a different manager now, is who and what guarantee can you give that it will not be a another cock up like Apples and Mickosaurus last season?

We are all entitled to our view, most of us are Blackpool Fans, maybe some of you need to be more tolerant of views different to your own.

It is very easy to suggest that it is hysteria based on one loss. Look at the managers record in the last few weeks before he left. Look at his stint at QPR and look at our away form. We keep making the same mistakes and yet it is always the players fault not the system.
There is a pattern forming and apart from the most stubborn, fans will be delighted to see it turn around under the current manager. However, he has to be more flexibile in his approach and it does not take a team of analysts to put some energy into footballers.

Your opinion, totally respect. Implying those who do not agree were bum spiders, totally not. 👍

What a load of crap. The manager like every other manager will be judged on whether he used his resources wisely and achieved the clubs objectives.

The owner will bugger off if three years further on all he can show for his efforts is wasted time and a stagnant club that makes a boat seem like a wise investment. If you know you know.

There’s no way you would have got on our coach after the match yesterday and told anyone to shut up moaning or fcuk off….. you would have been knocked back off it, free speech or not.
It’s irrelevant what you do with your own coach but are you going to tell what you have posted above before you set off???

Also I wouldn’t appoint anyone before Friday, that would be knee jerk, I would put Dobbie in as interim manager and advertise the job nationally and internationally
And what manager nationally or internationally would come running for the job?

Perhaps you & your “FY4 Hardcases” should do a promotional video to assist🙄🙄

I will read my post out over the Mike as we go down the M6 I promise, May even video it🧡

Anyway on a personal note.
“All The Best” 🧡

Another thatched driven look at me post.
Stick to arranging coaches & captain birdseye boat trips with your lists of do's & don'ts. But please don't come on here demanding die hard, frustrated BFC supporters to ** grow a pair.
I'd put that in the same annoying camp as give your head a wobble if other posters have a difference of opinion to you. Why you drag SS into your tear jerking rant god only knows. Vary few posts call Simon, maybe question his managerial appointments at worst. So in summary no one should question Critchley's pig headed stance of formation or lack of nouse to tweak or change set ups during a game because it might upset you & put you off your cheese & biscuits.
See how easy it is to post minus emojis, bold, italic or sign my name coz I'm that important.

I have no idea why nor do I care but I think the tone of your post is simply “personal & aggressive” Hey Ho 🙄🧡
