Being more or less right behind him I can confirm he didn’t see it coming and it hit him on the left side of his neck and landed on the collar of his coat which he quickly flicked off onto the floor. He was rubbing his neck for a fair while and then was wiping his coat.

That explains why a huge group of them were shown into the Heineken Lounge via the hotel entrance, we were waiting for the lift leaving the Corner Flag and a copper walked through the door at the top of the stairs followed by what seemed like about 100 Stevenage fans. We were talking to some coppers in the entrance downstairs and they said some cars had their windows smashed, they didn't mention a coach though....

Credit to the club for accomodating them.
