Mad one that was !We let in goals like Arsenal and now Liverpool have conceded.
Best players in the world?
Unbelievable comedy goals.
I bet the Liverpool messageboards aren't blaming Klopp and Fenway either! We let in goals like Arsenal and now Liverpool have conceded.

I think people use Kingston as an easy scapegoat for our relegation. Now I know where Richard Kingston ended up.
Yeah Sunderland away was a great gameI think people use Kingston as an easy scapegoat for our relegation.
THAT equaliser v t'rovers should never have been anywhere near out box if the ref and liner had done their jobs.
Don't forget the Sunderland away, Spuds at home performances where he performed heroics.

The last?Aww this is a nice thread for the last of the Critchley fan club.
I dont mention that one as that was another game @Mcewans Mullet missed, good ref that day too.And Stoke
Not so much a defence of Critchley, just pointing out that even the top clubs / players / managers can have a total nightmare !!Aww this is a nice thread for the last of the Critchley fan club.
Very true but top clubs also don’t go into away games expecting a defeat. Not so much a defence of Critchley, just pointing out that even the top clubs / players / managers can have a total nightmare !!
Richard Kingson, please, and you are correct. His game stats were no worse than Matt's, and that was after Ollie had been sussed.I think people use Kingston as an easy scapegoat for our relegation.

He made some saves Gilkes wouldn't have got close to near post.I think people use Kingston as an easy scapegoat for our relegation.

Yep, we got relegated because we weren't fit enough, our facilities were embarrasing and the only dietician was a bloke on work experience, simple as that. Charlie was always blowing after an hour.I think people use Kingston as an easy scapegoat for our relegation.

Totally agree - shame that the old AVFTT wasn't updated to this site so we could see how many posters are still around from the old days of League Two under McMahon. There are a few who have kept their usernames for 20+ years who are undoubtedly the voices of reason on here. This Board is a breeding ground for WUMs most of whom couldn't find their way to Bloomfield Rd unless they had a SatNav.
guests of the fa passed me by, yet again...I dont mention that one as that was another game @Mcewans Mullet missed, good ref that day too.
Could have read my posts the evening after THAT Barmet gameTotally agree - shame that the old AVFTT wasn't updated to this site so we could see how many posters are still around from the old days of League Two under McMahon. We were top of the fair play league and Europe beckoned until Holloway got himself sent off, maybe at Fulham, meaning they went into the InterToto or whatever it was at the time.He made some saves Gilkes wouldn't have got close to near post.
Kingston didn't cost us relegation, the lack of professional yellow cards did.
That's so true, I remember sky sports quoting one stat, if games lasted 80 minutes Blackpool would have qualified for the champions league.Yep, we got relegated because we weren't fit enough, our facilities were embarrasing and the only dietician was a bloke on work experience, simple as that. Charlie was always blowing after an hour.
...and full of folk who have been following Pool for 40, 50, 60 years plus and know more about the game than the younger brigade for sure. This board is full of old men always looking for scapegoats.
