Hopefully this is the template now for the rest of the season. Let’s go!
Delusional Covid strikes againThat’s exactly what Critchley has been asking for and today the players have stepped up to the plate and done the business.
Oh rightThat’s exactly what Critchley has been asking for and today the players have stepped up to the plate and done the business.
Yet plenty were moaning at half time about the lack of attacking intent despite being two up.Oh right
I think it’s the 3rd time we’ve started with Dembele behind a front two… the other two times we’ve been 3-0 and 2-0 up at half time. The only other times he’s operated behind a front 2 we bear Fwood 3-1 in the 2nd half and equalised at Oxford.
Glad the coach set the players to do the business. It’s the perfect combo for the rest of the season.
You are definitely going round the twist mateThat’s exactly what Critchley has been asking for and today the players have stepped up to the plate and done the business.
I’ve got the smuggest grin on my face that you ever did see.You are definitely going round the twist mate
Why has it taken this long for the genius to make this happen? Oh wise one? That’s exactly what Critchley has been asking for and today the players have stepped up to the plate and done the business.
As I said on another thread, he’s recently had a bit of a break in what had been a fairly relentless few weeks of fixtures. So an opportunity for him to get some quality time in with the players on the training ground and really drive home those important messages. Why has it taken this long for the genius to make this happen? Oh wise one?
Just reminded me, we need to knock the short corners on the head wasted two yesterday by not getting it in the box.Whatever next....
Leaving one or two players upfield when defending corners?
The biggest change was surely the mentality change.
Yer…. If only Critch had listed to the experts on AVFTT… ….
He listened to them that's all that matters. You mean it wasn’t Critchley deciding to implement the advice that the AVFTT experts knew was the right thing to do before the season had even started ?
Yep. We’ll all look back at the end of the season and say “you know what, the day that shite book got delivered by a sad stranger with nothing better to do was really a turning point for us”.He listened to them that's all that matters.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the Holloway book was sent and suddenly the mentality of the manager and players has changed.
This was always going to be the case. You mean it wasn’t Critchley deciding to implement the advice that the AVFTT experts knew was the right thing to do before the season had even started ?
Hopefully we can keep it up and next weeks game isn’t another of those steps backwards that we seem to have a habit of takingI’ve got the smuggest grin on my face that you ever did see.
It’s one of those ‘I told you so’ kind of grins..
Don’t be stupidWhatever next....
Leaving one or two players upfield when defending corners?
Exactly.Hopefully we can keep it up and next weeks game isn’t another of those steps backwards that we seem to have a habit of taking
The funny thing is that is probably what Critch hoped for but now he's seen the right players can achieve that he'll make the right team choices. That’s exactly what Critchley has been asking for and today the players have stepped up to the plate and done the business.
