Deal with Everton for Marvin with Ellis Simms as a make weight ?
Would Simms want to come when he's knocking on the door of the first team? Different situation to 12 months ago.Hmm I only like the second part of your suggestion,. That we somehow get Simms. Loan maybe with a view to permanent ...
Who is Lubala?A creative midfielder and a strong all round forward with an eye for goal. I wouldn't sign Dale but Critchley will.
Also we should be working hard to ship out Howe, Nuttall and Lubala.
He's tidy but doesn't solve our lack of creativity and goals. Wintle, Dougall, Stewart and Connolly are all decent but unspectacular, although they suit Critchley's safety first style of play.Wintle would be my first priority.
How much would you be prepared to pay fo him? Free for Cardiff and they do not appear to want him.Wintle would be my first priority.
Agree. If Everton want to see how he's progressing, with a view to developing him for the first team, they could do far worse than handing him over to Critch for the second half of the season. Is Simms actually on the verge of breaking into the first team? I doubt it. they just have a number of players missing, no? He's not played higher than League One yet, it seems logical for him to have a spell at a Championship club this season. To get back in the groove and show what he can do.

Too much for an ordinary midfielder who neither creates or scores goals. No idea tbh pal. 4/500k?
I've been watching Callum Lang at Wigan recently has been really impressive.A creative midfielder and a strong all round forward with an eye for goal. I wouldn't sign Dale but Critchley will.
Also we should be working hard to ship out Howe, Nuttall and Lubala.
I would also be happy to pay that sort of sum for him, just have a concern that Cardiff will ask for a lot more, in which case we look elsewhere or wait for our defensive midfielder injury situation to improve. No idea tbh pal. 4/500k?
Has an eye for goal. Ex Lpool?I've been watching Callum Lang at Wigan recently has been really impressive.
Yes was at Liverpool youth for a short period watched him a few times young improving looked a class player.Has an eye for goal. Ex Lpool?
O really?O'Riley at mk dons looks useful, perhaps a deal to be done with Ethan Robson going other way.
Attacking midfielder who scores goals and provides assists
Saw him at Morecambe a fair few times when he was younger. Looked a real prospect back then. Works hard, not afraid to put his foot in and can finish.Yes was at Liverpool youth for a short period watched him a few times young improving looked a class player.
He's 6th in line and still not getting a game.Is Simms actually on the verge of breaking into the first team? I doubt it. they just have a number of players missing, no? No. Not keen on losing a permanent player, a rock in our defence and one of our best players. We could and should be able to get Simms on loanDeal with Everton for Marvin with Ellis Simms as a make weight ?
This. ^1. Retain key players, especially Marv
2. Try to sign Wintle permanently
3. Creative midfielder
4. A tall physical CF, whether Simms (6ft 0) or someone else
This is a hangover from the Oyston era mindset - we still think we need to sell our best players every year. Two decades of selling to survive indoctrination. Well we don’t, thank Simon. Why would Ekpiteta go to Everton? Has there been interest in him?
If we get good offers we should not hold players back. I am happy that what has fundamentally changed is any transfer pluses will be re invested. At some point Casey should be given a chance. This is a hangover from the Oyston era mindset - we still think we need to sell our best players every year. Agree with most of that but I’m confident dale will come good in the next 18 months judging from the limited playing time he’s had so far, calling him a duffer is a bit harsh!A creative midfielder and a strong all round forward with an eye for goal. I wouldn't sign Dale but Critchley will.
Also we should be working hard to ship out Howe, Nuttall and Lubala.
Writing off Dale right now is laughably moronic.Agree with most of that but I’m confident dale will come good in the next 18 months judging from the limited playing time he’s had so far, calling him a duffer is a bit harsh!
Depends, if the player wants to go you should always let them go.This is a hangover from the Oyston era mindset - we still think we need to sell our best players every year. Two decades of selling to survive indoctrination. Well we don’t, thank Simon.
Has he shown enough to pay £500k?Agree with most of that but I’m confident dale will come good in the next 18 months judging from the limited playing time he’s had so far, calling him a duffer is a bit harsh!
Yes.Has he shown enough to pay £500k?
Really!!! Please tell me more.Yes.
Nah.Really!!! Please tell me more.
I don't know where people get that from, he will go out on loan to someone in Jan, hope its us!Is Simms actually on the verge of breaking into the first team? I doubt it. they just have a number of players missing, no? He's not played higher than League One yet, it seems logical for him to have a spell at a Championship club this season. He hasn't shown enough to get a run in the team and didn't advance his case last Sat.Dale hasn't had a real run in the team, we are a club that develops player and that is what NC will be looking at, I think the lad has done alright so far.
Why doDeal with Everton for Marvin with Ellis Simms as a make weight ?
He won’t tell you more I think he’s very secretive in a cunning I won’t tell you more kind of way I reckonReally!!! Please tell me more.
Perhaps he's nothing to say to back up his view?He won’t tell you more I think he’s very secretive in a cunning I won’t tell you more kind of way I reckon
...and saying he's done enough to be in the team is insane.Writing off Dale right now is laughably moronic.
Why don’t you show him some respect for once and use his surname, you feckin’ truck jockeyNot a chance. Eggpotato won't be going anywhere. Simms is on the verge of breaking into the Everton first team.
