Japan Airlines plane on fire

Looking at other footage that is a miracle - not much hope for the small plane though.
5 out of 6 onboard died on that coast guard plane latest news the Captain was the only one who survived.
Ironically it was going to where they had the earthquake the other day with aid on board. ☹️

The fact everyone survived on the passenger plane is largely due to Japanese orderly behaviour. They all sat in their seats and followed the crew's instructions even with flames raging outside and smoke entering the cabin. Imagine Easyjet passengers in the UK remaining that calm under such circumstances?

My thoughts exactly when I saw the footage.

Yep - there is a case for the overhead bins being remotely locked prior to take-off and landing so that idiots don't try to get their hand luggage in survivable emergencies. Bins could be unlocked when seatbelt lights go off.
