I'm really looking forward to this season!
A left-sided centre-half and a forward alternative would be ideal. Our midfield is hilariously good.

7 players who are more than good enough for 3 positions, that is depth.
Only need a striker and maybe a CB (although Casey and Tharme looked decent on Tuesday) and we are good until January.
Does that still count if they've bought him from another club for 500k. They bought him from Wigan in 2020Being U'24 compensation will have to be paid even if he turns down a new contract (provided it is no worse than current one) with BHA.
I suspect Critchley will rotate them to keep them sharp.I'm not sure it will be Carey, at least not always. I doubt Carey will be a bench regular this season. He'll rotate them I suspect, according to match schedule and opposition.
Yep, still payable. He could move internationally (including Scotland) for nothing though so BHA will be pushing a new contract hard I'd imagine.Does that still count if they've bought him from another club for 500k. They bought him from Wigan in 2020
I have a lad like that....strange how much they know.My 16 year old, who has some mad ‘Rainman’ style knowledge of practically every player in the UK, says he is the utter dogs bollocks, so that’ll do me!
I posted it because surprisingly no-one had posted it.I trawled through the comments hoping no one had mentioned this.
End of the season??! If he’s not starting games soon I think Brighton will be recalling him - or did you mean Morgan? Then he’ll replace Albie Morgan then.
Critch does take time to bed players in so we might not see him start matches immediately, but I think by the end of the season he’ll be starting, too good of a player to not play from the beginning of matches.
And a winger. One more striker needed now in case Beesley, or/and Lavery get injured or get reds, or don’t perform.
Nobody will replace anybody. Critch will pick what he sees as the appropriate 18 for each match. Then he’ll replace Albie Morgan then.

Yeah we’ll take another look at Moxon once we’re championship and Carlisle are back in Lge2I think this ends our interest in Moxon for this season
Sure this is a replacement, Critch will rotate of course, but there will definitely be players who will start and play more than others.Nobody will replace anybody. Critch will pick what he sees as the appropriate 18 for each match.
OK. We'll see.Sure this is a replacement, Critch will rotate of course, but there will definitely be players who will start and play more than others.
Weir is too good to just be a rotational piece and Brighton will expect him to start the majority of matches for his develop.
So I don’t think it’s ridiculous to think that he will take significant minutes away from and “replace” another player in the squad.
He won’t. Good signing but Morgan and Carey will be regulars, he will get his chance but he isn’t going to play every game, may play just behind LaveryHe will replace Sonny Carey or Albie Morgan in the lineup and I am more than ok with that.
He apparently had Championship offers, but Brighton wanted him to get minutes on a promotion challenging side.
This is a massive coup…
Think that was done once they put a £1m price tag on him. We will probably go back in for him in January if he hasn't signed a new contract by then.I think this ends our interest in Moxon for this season
I doubt he will have come here unless we've made some gaurentees about playing time. Not with 4/5 other clubs in for him, he could have gone to Derby or Reading and started every game. If we had bought him then I would see you point more, but I think he will be starting most games for us.He won’t. Good signing but Morgan and Carey will be regulars, he will get his chance but he isn’t going to play every game, may play just behind Lavery
Agree with this. Pompey and Wigan both in for him as well. Morgan and Carey may rotate but I think he will be the main attacking MF for us this season, unless he's terrible for us which is unlikely, but still a possibility.I doubt he will have come here unless we've made some gaurentees about playing time. Super Jensen Weir....he's really glad to be here....Jenson Weir.....he knew the place to steer!
Weir, Weir, it’s Jensen Weir,Revive the Jerry song but change the last line to "we're gonna go on the beer with Jensen Weir!!!"
I'm not saying drop Carey, I just think Weir wouldn't be here if he wasn't going to be a starter. I rate Carey higher than Morgan tbh, so think he's the one that could be on the bench more. However it's great to have some real competition in the squad. It can only lead to better performances.I'm amazed that so many are willing/jumping at the chance to drop Carey, when we've seen Morgan once in the league for us, and we haven't even seen Weir yet. I mean, if we'd only seen Carey once and it was his performance against PNE last season at home, then we'd all be saying how good he is.
I think we ought to see what Weir and Morgan are like before we start giving them starts over a more established, championship experienced player.
Absolutely agree ATOur midfield is hilariously good.

But we’ll sign him when his contract is up next yearI think this ends our interest in Moxon for this season
Jerry Yates played for us last season, doesn’t mean he’s no good.I like all the enthusiasm on this board but I must be missing something.
He was on loan at Morecambe last season and they got relegated.
Why? How much u offering? Have u really got more money than Deadpool?
Thought his dad was part of the management team at BHA, so not sure we will get the chance to sign him.Yep, still payable. He could move internationally (including Scotland) for nothing though so BHA will be pushing a new contract hard I'd imagine.
Ones a holding midfielder, the other isn'tTrybull off then?
I was like that as a kid but now players move for 110 million and I have barely heard of them!!I have a lad like that....strange how much they know.
We had Yates and we got relegated!I like all the enthusiasm on this board but I must be missing something.

Injuries, suspensions, loss of form, changes in tactics, we don't want 1 player for each position we now have Carey, Weir and Apter that can play behind a number 9, Joseph could probably do it as well. It's a good thing.Thought his dad was part of the management team at BHA, so not sure we will get the chance to sign him.
It is interesting as do we drop our own players to make way for him, which stifles the development of our own players?
Could Carey convert to be a forward?
Do you actually ever watch football or are you just very negative. We got relegated from the Premier league did that mean all our players were 2nd rate!?I like all the enthusiasm on this board but I must be missing something.
