Jensen Weir

Pathway development manager Gordon Greer said, “This is a good move for Jensen at a level he did very well at last season.

“We’ll be monitoring his progress at Blackpool during the season and wish him all the best.”

He will replace Sonny Carey or Albie Morgan in the lineup and I am more than ok with that.

He apparently had Championship offers, but Brighton wanted him to get minutes on a promotion challenging side.

This is a massive coup…
I think one possibility is that he plays as a second striker/ No. 10 in the way Dale and Apter did in midweek

Looks like Critch wants to play with 2 AMs this season and now has Morgan Carey and Weir as front line options with maybe Dougall and Apter as possibles?

Believe he's like a high end slick motor who reads the game well and is a good interceptor of the ball which allows him to dictate the flow of the game..

I hope we have an option to buy. The time to negotiate that is now before they've done really well. Then, should they do very well and prove to be worth that and more, we're sorted.

Embleton is a good example, I'm sure that we could have had a very reasonable option to buy because they didn't rate him at the time.
