Jordan Rhodes on loan

I’m not sure if his game has evolved but he needs service and usually plays on the last man to be slid in or put on a plate for him.

Not sure we do that ?

But it’s an upgrade on Jake Beesley.

I wouldn't describe us as a poor team in fact the one thing I can say in those opening 4 games is that I've not yet seen a player from another side who I'd desperately want in our side. For some reason it's just not clicking for us and that's down to Critch to sort out.
Perhaps we aren’t a poor team, but we are certainly not a good one. And Critchley can’t sort it out as long as he thinks we’re doing well.

Very underwhelming signing & waste of a squad place. Terrible work ethic.
The way we play Rhodes will be a passenger before the inevitable injury lay off….
The likes of Chris Martin or Billy Sharp would have been better options for squad harmony, experienced person for others to learn from.

I think this is a really solid signing. Experienced, bigger lad to hold the ball up for Shane a bit more. Could be the difference but time will tell. Can’t knock it really for what it is.

I think the key thing now is to start playing in the opposition half and get behind defenses on the flanks as we seemed to in our promotion season and after ( eg I remember Husband and Kaikai doing this and of course Bowler ) To sign a wide player would be good.

Very good player inside the penalty area. Often goes missing in games if he’s not directly involved in the play. So we need to give him all the service required.

Good first part of your post. As for the wide player, we have wing backs in Lyons, Thompson and Husband, and CJ who I know you are about to poo-poo but just wait. He's gonna be bril!

The vast majority don't work at the Mail.

Seven hundred at Lincoln, after over five goalless hours?

It shames the education system's failure.
No, the vast majority work for other publications that also make the news rather than report it, they're just not as prolific as the Mail.

700 at Lincoln during a rail strike is commendable.

The fact that you, as a so called Blackpool supporter, don't understand football fans is much more of indictment of our education system.

Or it would be if you weren't just a wind up! 😂

Will be POTG as well.

That's most of us on here going by present day newsworthiness standards!

Don't confuse press news with views.

I understand, but cannot identify with football supporters' match addiction.

To watch Blackpool launch attacks under Holloway proved unalloyed ecstasy.

To suffer Critchley's defensive bore at Sincil Bank wastes a summer afternoon.

News?

Something that someone, somewhere does not want published.

All the rest?

Advertising.

Better than no one but he’s hardly in the “madine Martin Caroll” type though Anyway let’s hope he shoots the winner tomorrow

Does it matter who’s up front if we’re tippy tappying across the back line, back to Grimmy or hoofing it over the wide man’s head for a throw in?

And if we’ve still not used either the Critchley or Yates money why the hell are we bothering with season long loans for a player who’s past his best?
Another negative Nelly
