Fingers crossed. He's a holding midfielder. Do we really want another? Unless we have written Stewart off and we're going to get rid of Virtue?
We simply can’t rely on Stewart anymore, he missed the back end of last season injured and now he could be out 6-8 weeks (l think longer given his record) with a stress fracture where's that come from? He's a holding midfielder. What a stupid way of looking at it. So you're essentially saying it's impossible to be a good player in a bad team? Not sure why some are getting excited about players who have just got their club relegated to league 2.
I’am not saying they are all wrong but I’am saying are they all that good? What a stupid way of looking at it. So you're essentially saying it's impossible to be a good player in a bad team?
Would you say the same about Jack Rudoni? A talented attacking midfielder at Wimbledon currently being chased by multiple championship clubs. But hey what can they possibly see in him, in your eyes he's just got his team relegated to League 2, they all must be wrong.
Putting his socks on.We simply can’t rely on Stewart anymore, he missed the back end of last season injured and now he could be out 6-8 weeks (l think longer given his record) with a stress fracture where's that come from?
Price increase in plasterboard I think.now he could be out 6-8 weeks (l think longer given his record) with a stress fracture where's that come from?

We got relegated and everyone wanted Adam, Vaughan etc.I’am not saying they are all wrong but I’am saying are they all that good?
Both players were pretty much the Wimbledon midfield last season and they got relegated.
I’am not writing either player off as age is on their side and if we sign them fair enough I’am just not getting the excitement some are that’s all I’am implying.
Out of the 2 I think Rudoni would excite me a little more though a midfielder who can score goals.
On a similar note, Alex Baptiste was relegated to non League with Mansfield before we signed him.Another daft comment.
Alan Wright was playing for Blackpool when he was young and got relegated to Division 4.
Putting talc on his foot…the weight was just too much…We simply can’t rely on Stewart anymore, he missed the back end of last season injured and now he could be out 6-8 weeks (l think longer given his record) with a stress fracture where's that come from?
Only scored one league goal so doesn't sound like the creative spark we're seeking.
Willie Mcgrotty only scored one lg goal for Pool in a 2-3 home defeat to Forest in 70-71.️Only scored one league goal so doesn't sound like the creative spark we're seeking.
Yep , saw that game wasn't he sent off same match which was rare in those days ? He only played 4 games for us though .Willie Mcgrotty only scored one lg goal for Pool in a 2-3 home defeat to Forest in 70-71.️
Liverpool signed Robertson from Hull after their relegation, bet they regret that signing now.Another daft comment.

Kevin Stewart and his injuries went the other way in one of those net spend offset deals that Liverpool like to do. Which ended up as a £4m move turned into a £0 release. And eventually led to us using some of the budget to pay him to come and be injured here for two years. Which could be a reason why we might be looking at the league two OOC market and hoping to find someone who can step up, cope in midfield and ideally not be injured.Liverpool signed Robertson from Hull after their relegation, bet they regret that signing now.
If he signs as he is under 24 a fee will still have to be paid to Wimbledon even though he is out of contract.
The last two lines of this are a spectacular level of bullshitKevin Stewart and his injuries went the other way in one of those net spend offset deals that Liverpool like to do. Indeed they did but it was premier league to championship, Robertson had already had bags of premiership experience by the time he joined the scousers.Liverpool signed Robertson from Hull after their relegation, bet they regret that signing now.
If they're trying manage what they've got to spend and and work around who they're already spending it on then they're not going to be chasing too many already employed or making too many extravagant moves I wouldn't think. So I'd expect one or two like this. Need a midfielder and a right back because Callum Connolly can't do everything at the same time. The last two lines of this are a spectacular level of bullshit
To be fair Trammo I picked his name because I used to sometimes go to reserve games with my dad as a kid & chuckled at his name. He was on the bench when we beat bolognaWillie Mcgrotty only scored one lg goal for Pool in a 2-3 home defeat to Forest in 70-71.️
Maybe it was his brother, Alf...Set to sign for pool

Virtue is a very good player and always likely to have a pop at goal…Fingers crossed.
Stewart is probably the best footballer at the club when he is actually able to get on the pitch, it’s a shame he’s made out of angel delight.
Virtue is nothing more than a squad player at best for me.
Very good point Wizaard. A lot of posters on here haven’t a clue about recruiting players or what it entails…On a similar note, Alex Baptiste was relegated to non League with Mansfield before we signed him.
You feared for last season as well. You're just fearful.I fear for next season with some of the names we are being linked with.
Disagree on Virtue, I don’t think he’d even be a top end League One player.Virtue is a very good player and always likely to have a pop at goal…
Well at least it isn't Woodburn lolHold your nerve!
And look how it ended, shocking form towards the end of last season, disinterested players and a manager that jumped ship the first chance he got.You feared for last season as well. You're just fearful.
