He must be thinking- Why was I born first?

Probably a single malt or twoHe must be thinking I’m gagging for a cuppa and to put my feet up. He looks absolutely knackered and not surprising, emotionally wrung out and a long day.
A lot of commonwealth countries may take a step back from independence as it was obvious the affection the monarchy was held in, and their are not significant costs for them in maintaining status quo, and once out they cannot rejoin. He has an impossible act to follow.
As someone who loved the Queen but has nowhere near as much time for the other royals, I've genuinely felt for them these last 11 days.
To do what Charles has done since his mother's passing is incredible, a lot of it seems very outdated but he has done his duty, William looked in a complete daze in the days after his grandma died, but again, performed his duties admirably. Although she was our Queen, THE Queen, she was their mother, grandmother and great grandmother and their grief/mourning has been played out in public.
The worry now for Charles is the monarchy seems very outdated and I'm sure over the next few years several countries will leave the commonwealth.
No chance.I think charles will step down in next 2 yrs to let William take the Crown on
He has to worker harder to stop the monarchy disintegrating from what his mother built up over the 70 years.I’ve done loads of 15 hour days.
I didn’t have a shoe polisher, sock provider, valet, driver etc.
Nah these last ten ten day have made the Monarchy stronger than it has ever been.He has to worker harder to stop the monarchy disintegrating from what his mother built up over the 70 years.
Most Commonwealth Countries are already independent. Only 15 are Realms which mean Charles is their King, the rest are Republics and even the Realms are Constitutionally independent. I doubt if many would want to leave the Commonwealth, there are quite a few benefits and some countries are actually keen to join. Some eg Australia have had debates about becoming Republics but could still remain Commonwealth Countries.A lot of commonwealth countries may take a step back from independence as it was obvious the affection the monarchy was held in, and their are not significant costs for them in maintaining status quo, and once out they cannot rejoin.
Closer to home, yes there are costs but those wanting the abolition of the monarchy are massively underestimating tourism, and interest from the rest of the world in Royal affairs
Very much doubt it.I think charles will step down in next 2 yrs to let William take the Crown on
Yeh, you've done ten on the bounce coupled with all the grief and stress of losing a loved one.I’ve done loads of 15 hour days.
I didn’t have a shoe polisher, sock provider, valet, driver etc.
Yep maybe you could have upped your productivity to 20 hour days if you hadI’ve done loads of 15 hour days.
I didn’t have a shoe polisher, sock provider, valet, driver etc.
