You would think they would want Anderson to get some first class cricket having had the last few months off. Also, how can they expect county batsmen to improve if they are not facing the best international bowlers?

Compton must be knackered, hopefully we can get him early after his unbeaten 100 in the first innings. If we can take 2 or 3 today, on a wicket offering plenty for the spinners, we will have a great opportunity tomorrow to push for the win.

Kent were pre season favourites according to the BBC.Very strong start to the season.
To think we have 5 England internationals on our books who didn't even feature in this game.
Yeah Buttler doesn't really count but when Jennings, Livingstone, Jimmy and Mahmood are all available that's quite a selection dilemma.
Problem is I'm sure the new England coach and captain will not have the 'Anti Parky' blinkers on!!
