Leeds look doomed

Have watched their last two home games. 4-0 loss against Spurs, 3-0 loss against Villa. Two different managers, same result. Last night they were well off it and apart from a brief 5 minute spell after half time they offered absolutely nothing.

As things stand, I'd say they go down with Norwich and Watford, with Burnley to stay up.

From our point of view it would make for some good fixtures if Leeds and Burnley go down, but that’s unlikely with Watford’s form.

Mr Nobody could be the shortest managerial tenure in history. Even less than Cloughie's at the same venue. Maybe Hodgson fancies one final job in the north after he is canned in the near future. Sorry to any Leeds fans who may frequent our esteemed message board 😉 😞

I watched Leeds last night and I'd be more worried if I was a Leeds fan than if I was a Burnley fan. It looks bleak for them. The fans seem to have given up. Lots of tension and little support. No fight on or off the pitch it seemed to me. Ayling giving it everything, and not much else. No leadership. The new coach looking helpless.

And GD is often a good pointer to how things will end up -

Norwich -44
Leeds -35
Watford -27

Everton -18
Brentford -15
Newcastle -15
Burnley -14

Leeds have also conceded the most - 64 in 28 games, equivalent to 87 in 38 games, or 105 in 46 games.

And they have made a bizarre change of manager art the crucial time. Dyche knows the league, knows the club, knows his players, and knows about relegation battles. And they have improved with the January transfer business. According to my mate who supports them.

I'd also have Everton as a bit vulnerable. Frank isn't the fella for this situation, is he? Their defence is struggling and they the 5-0 last time must have battered their confidence. You'd think their midfield and attack should keep them up though. Unless they just disintegrate. Burnley have been in this situation before with the same people, Leeds and Everton haven't. Brentford definitely possible too, but they've been in fight mode all season. I reckon they'll go down next season!

Agree about the manager.

To hire someone with no experience of English football, never mind the Premier League, at this stage of the season is a huge gamble.

Personally think they should have stuck with Bielsa.

None of the bottom 5 are picking up any points. Think Burnley will survive, like to see Everton go but reckon it will be Watford Norwich and Leeds

Yeah likes others have said.... Everton... fixtures they have are
wolves, toon, (then FA cup QF), West Ham, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Foxes, Brentford and Arsenal (Watford & palace to re arrange)... bloody tough that although do have some pts more than others and games in hand. But squeaky bum time i think

Two northern clubs and one a five hour drive in championship next season.
Look forward to Norwich, providing it is not a night game away.
This is assuming Watford beat relegation.

Hope they stay up - need sides like Leeds in the Prem competing with the big boys. Norwich and Watford can deffo go down for me. Love the way Leeds play - they get possession and drive forwards all the time. Great to watch.

Struggling to see many points for Everton out of their next few games.

Newcastle -H.
West Ham - A.
Man U - H.
Liverpool - A.
Chelsea - H

Funny to see how some LUFC friends of mine have been championing the reinstatement of the bucket-squatter (Understandable by MB after recent results) & calling for a statue outside Elland Rd, whilst ‘The Old Peacock’ pub has been temporarily renamed ‘The Bielsa’ - yet today, after scraping an injury-time win against Norwich, they’ve been quick to message me to advise they’re ‘Marsching on Together!’

Ah - the fickle nature of some supporters….

Some come back that by dirty Leeds.

After Everton’s win last night it’s looking like it’s going to be Burnley, Norwich, Watford again.

I think Burnley or Watford will finish above Everton.Last nights scabby result doesn't hide the fact they are the worst team in the prem at the moment.

Everton have 2 games in hand over Watford and are currently 3 points better off so 4 in reality as they have a far superior goal difference Watford can’t buy a win at the moment let alone catch/overtake Everton.
Burnley have more of a chance but they’ve won just 3 games all season so some turnaround they’ll need.

Games in hand at the bottom mean nothing. Teams at the bottom don't win games, that's why they're at the bottom.

Having said that, I agree with you about Watford and indeed Burnley.

Not sure Barnsley fans would agree with that about teams at the bottom not winning they looked dead and buried at Christmas now they’ve every chance of surviving.
Same with Doncaster weren’t they some 12/15 points adrift not that long ago? Mind you let’s hope they don’t win today though. 😉

They've actually shown incredible character. They looked down and out against Villa. but won against Norwich despite conceding in the 91st minute and came from 2-0 down last night. Like them or not, I think they're great for the premier league.
