Having just been reminded of the 8 darter thread, my mind started wandering to the wallacesleftboot thread, the one about a dead rabbit or cat iir, and the Millwall (?) Season ticket holder going mad about his seat being sold for a cup match when it hadn't.
Any other classics spring to mind?
And can any one of you fine folk find a way to resurrect them please???

Well can use the Wayback Machine but it's only snapshots and luck of the draw.

The Grimsby fan who listed the various people who could feck off, after his team were relegated from L2 a few years ago (not last season), a brilliant rant

The Middlesbrough rabbit thread

The Eight Dart Finish, the Rabbit and the Massive coming to town when we drew Wednesday in the cup were my all time favourites.

I think the rabbit one went along these lines,

"Has anyone lost a rabbit, it's brown in colour and must be about 2 foot long"

"Oh that's brilliant ,my mates lad has been in bits over the weekend, I'll let him know he'll be made up"

"Sorry Pal I've found it's head, I was guessing it'd be about 2 foot by the size of the head"
 
Yep Millwall Stu, bless him. The only things that have ever beaten it were the Joffrey letters and anything written by Middlesbrough.

It was the way Stu's thread kept developing. Started as a simple rant about his ticket and a couple of pages of sympathetic agreement.. Then someone posted it was his best but it took at least another page before others joined in. By the end it had gone national.

The Grimsby fan rant is one of my favourite posts of all time, I’m glad I bookmarked it at the time!

There was one the Tranmere site where we got them into a massive argument between themselves about where Prenton Park is.
 
What about Rocky almost getting his head kicked in at Barnsley by one of our own,
That ran for a while.

Does he still exist BTW?

Yep and then we made the mistake of starting on a very busy Boro board and they invaded ours.
 
The original MASSIVE Sheffield Wednesday thread was hilarious.
8 dart finish on the Boro site.
Mozalini used to be funny.
And the lad with the hatred of Mayo. Forgotten his name.
