Less than 2000 season tickets sold...

I don't think it will be much more than 5k if I'm being honest, maybe another poll will give us a clue to see who's waiting for next payday/transfers or not bothering? Lots of people will be saving next pay packet for summer holidays also.

Must confess I’ve always been a last minute Charlie (like my name!) and won’t be buying until early bird ends .. and actually if I forget it might even be July (I can live without the discount!).

I'll be renewing last day of the early bird, as I suspect many others will. There is no rush and in honesty I want to see a few signings to see what Sadler's ambitions are.

I’m hanging on to buy my ticket plus those for my 4,999 mates until the last day of the early bird discount

Deserves its own thread this as that's very poor, people voting with their feet, awaiting some signings or skint until payday?

Not exactly flying off so far but still a month to go. I only renewed mine the other day after getting an email, I wasn't in any rush before that, but thought I may as well get it done and give them the cash.

Obviously the 20 charge won't be popular at all and is a daft thing to do when trying to retain fans following a poor season.

Who was it who said they asked in the ticket office an sales were 'pretty decent' 🙄 Far too early to call but I wouldn't have said pretty decent.

It would be interesting to know the figure at this point last season.....
Different deadlines, I think.

With end of June being the EB cutoff many will simply buy with June's pay. Others once signings are being made as the month goes on.

Of course, final sales won't be the same as last season based on divisional status alone. They will be a max of 6500, probably closer to 5500.

Got my two a couple of weeks ago. Phone was answered almost immediately. Obviously they weren’t rushed off their feet.

I reckon there will be a lot just picking and choosing games this season like we haven’t really seen before.

People’s mortgages have shot up and will be cutting the cloth accordingly.

That's very underwhelming. Already bought ours in our household. Fully expected the sales to be alright at this point as a show of force from us to Sadler that we were behind him and the team. No offence to anyone who hasn't bought yet as everyone's situation is different but we expect Sadler to put his hand in his pocket, so it kind of feels like we have to show willing as well.

Was in club shop this afternoon renewing our 3 tickets. Old boy comes in, who has had tickets for absolutely years and was really upset at having to pay another £20 for a plastic card, as he doesn’t use a smart phone, and is limited on his funds. No exceptions made, he had to pay £20 each extra for his 2 cards. Really think that might put quite a few people of buying, especially our older supporters

So potentially a lot of those will be new st holders. Otherwise, for the rest of us, it'll be end of June 👍

Had a bit extra in my wages this month so got mine early doors, would normally have waited until near the end of the early bird

He was obvs trying to blag the office staff……should have been banned in truth

I have saved this until now, realising the tempest of anger and dispair I am about to ferment. I was driving past Bloomfield Rd this morning, along Seasiders Way, and witnessed a huge barney between Critchley and Sadler. Obviously I couldn't hear what went on but, as it happened, later in the morning I was parked up in the Teanlowe Centre in Poulton. I was taking my Dad shopping and taking the dog for a walk. I was walking towards Booths and past the Post Office when I noticed Keiran Donnelly waiting in the queue for the cash point. I mentioned what I'd seen and he said that it had all been sorted and that the two chaps were friends again. Apparently, Critch had said he refused to treat fans well because they were all shallow, AVFTT gobshites. Sadler was apparently telling Critch that the AVFTT boys needed some slack and that it was only Welsh Phil and his acolytes, who were making waves.

This is completely factomadeitallupmundo.

Except the bit about Keiran Donnally being stood in a cash-point queue in Poulton. That is true.
