Less than 2000 season tickets sold...

Got mine yesterday ,was told we have sold around 4 ,000 now . So I would suggest we will end up with around half last years gate ,but this should be no surprise as I had to get my son to sort out my phone to get one because I had no idea on how to buy one and am still wondering on how to use it yet. I would imagine that there must be at least a couple of hundred people that do not have a smart phone or don't know how to use it to purchase their tickets and will have just given up. I still cannot see any reason why the club has to charge an extra £20 if you are using the same card in the same seat ,its robbery.

The old cards won’t work with the new readers at the gate apparently.

Just be nice to get 2/3 more signings over the line and then we can top up with loans.
Ironically someone like a Colby Bishop signing would be what we need (although would set the rumours 'it's Jerry's replacement' going full steam!).

Seems Norburn has fallen though, but an attacking signing would go down very well.
 
Stockport have 70 season tickets remaining of their 5000 cap and have much more expensive adult STs than us.

Just seen that Sunderland have completely outsourced their commercial department to a subsidiary of Nike rather than run it in house.

Is that the future for other clubs?

Good point about not knowing how. Club should have posted a video on you tube and/or made tangerine world free in off season for a couple of weeks to gain more subscribers and put the same video in that location as well.

It's been made clear that an email will go out with explanatory instructions on how to upload the ticket. Do these people who can't do it get someone in to assemble IKEA furniture as well?

I’m sure if people took the time to read the instructions properly it’s a piece of piss to buy a season ticket!

Assembling stuff from IKEA is deffo someone else’s job imo

do these explanatory instructions tell you how to upload the ticket on to a pay as you go phone? If you can sort that out for me that would be great, thanks.

mmmm... I'd say definitely not. Having a pay as you go phone, I have no internet on it, no apps. I can simply make and receive calls and txts and that's it. The club or probably more specifically Sadler couldn't give a monkeys about those who don't own smart phones, he's just interested in getting as much money out of the fans as he can. Hence his £20 charge to have a card as a st. Be it new or not.

Will the occupants of L Block please ensure that they have the grassing app downloaded alongside their new ST.
You never know when you will need it, but going off BB3 + BB3 jr's match day vocabulary I'd hazard a guess that it will be about 20minutes past 3 on Saturday 05 August.😇
 
Renewed x 2 on Monday afternoon.
I'd have preferred to keep the ST card but I'm trying to keep up with everyone else technology wise, also the extra £20 put me off a bit (which I suppose is one point of the extra charge)

The lad at the ticket office downloaded the wallet app (Samsung phone) for me and explained I'd be able to get the ST via email in July.

Is that the same for everyone, or do some already have their ST?

a world where so many people walking down streets are more interested in looking at their phones rather than looking where they are going. Every morning i see mums taking their kids to school and they are more interested in looking at their phones than watching out for their kids crossing roads. I'll pass on smart phones/iphones thanks.

Not doing but there's lots of speculation about how difficult it's going to be for old people without any clue of what's involved. Surely that's judgemental against old people, making an assumption they are digitally incapable.

Tried to renew my season ticket and clicked the finance option as it said it was the same price, but when you go further in there's an admin fee so didn't complete. Now my season ticket renewal is no longer there, have emailed the ticket office FFS

How is other clubs' social media now? Are the mockers still out now we've passed 6,000 with 2 more days early bird, and five weeks to the start of the season?
