Yes.

You forward to his account - it's effectively selling it so make sure you go through to the final confirmation page.

They will then get an email asking if the accept. They enter their account, accept, and again need to go through to final confirmation page - it's like buying a ticket but for £0.

Once done they will be emailed a pdf ticket. Just scan the bar code. Either on phone or print

It's easier than it sounds.

You can send it to anyone in your network and then send the pdf by email to whoever - if you want to save your dad the hassle.

I didn’t get a digital ST for precisely this reason. Giving it my Dad just wouldn’t work. Even though he’s been going on and off since the 60’s, he’s not registered/doesn’t have an email etc.
The club seem to make it as hard as possible for people like him to attend, which baffles me really.
I paid the £20 to save the hassle

Not really a hassle to be fair. Once you've done it once, it's easy. You could print the PDF for him.

Appreciate why you chose to pay though.

As mentioned numerous times they made a huge mistake by not offering digital as a discount as opposed to physical at a cost.

Whether people find it a hassle or not (obviously I do) isn’t really the point. It’s about the club dictating to fans who want to attend in the way they have done for years, and charging them for the pleasure.
I don’t understand why they need everyone on a database or personal details, some people just want to go to a football match FFS

As I say, the whole narrative would have changed with a £20 discount for going digital.

Not the first time marketing has been poor, stuff like this is basic.

Anyhow, for those who are digital, it is pretty straightforward 👍

If he has a smartphone you could just delete it from your wallet and then add it to is from your original season ticket email I do it this way all the time if my son cant go. Then reverse the process after the match.

At Newcastle only allowed to do this 10 times a season and you have to nominate who you can allocate to at the beginning of the season
