They could be 3 up . 66% possession is OK but passing it about at the back and giving it away accounts for half of that.
It's bloody awful.

What he’s not understanding is that the reason he’s being overrun is he’s got two midfielders about 15 yards away from him especially Morgan to the left. Which is clear as day if you’ve ever played or coached the game.

The only player showing for the ball is Norburn so he’s going to get caught on it more.

Oh and he keeps saying CJ is using his weak left foot. Granted it’s a shit left foot but he’s left footed.

Yep he needs support and better players than we’ve or he’s going to get deflated soon. Just don’t see Sadler bringing better players in.
 
The first 10 mins shows what Critch wants from our system and it was not boring at all.

Goals change games and between Norburn and Marv, that was shite! Since then, it’s been our usual clueless crap, allowing someone to run half the pitch and shoot 🤦‍♂️

Gonna be a mountain to climb now, especially when we don’t have a plan B
 
I think things will turn ugly quite quickly. Critchley has less in the goodwill tank than he thinks and is producing obdurate shote football.

t I don't get the negativity towards CJ.

Rightly or wrongly he's our best attacking outlet. It's not his fault he's being played out of position by Shitley.

His selections and tactics are incomprehensible.
 
Let's face it though, Lincoln have had nowt.

Gifted them a pen and a deflected goal.

We should have scored a few.

We need a big turnaround in performance but if we can go up a gear or 2 we can get back in...

I don’t think we’ve been that bad today. For every good CJ does he does bad too, but he’s been our best forward option so far. Rhodes looks decent, can see the extra class he has. I’ve yet to see anything from Albie Morgan, this game or any game so far. Ekpiteta is our best defender but he the worst with the ball at his feet, the challenge for their penalty was very poor.

I still feel we are in the game and if we can get the next goal then I feel we can get another but we must improve our finishing. No goal in 315 minutes is a major concern

I'm the matches I have seen Morgan seems anonymous, Dougall is, I'm afraid looking a bit limited ATM.
However both goals have come from Norburn mistakes.
Anyway it's not as bad as most on here would have it

With any luck he'll be potted tonight. We may even get the likes of Trybull and Apter playing if Dobbie got the job.

To be honest this is all down to our clueless owner, he might be a nice bloke but he isn't cut out to own a football club.
 
The ‘fat lady’ is currently sucking on a bag of throat pastilles. Plenty of time left yet - for Marv to score an own goal and then get sent off. His way of getting a ‘hat trick’.
 
Anticipation for each half of football is being gradually replaced with apprehension for me.

I’m not in the we’re all doomed and the manager has to go camp but that first half was terrible.

it's what you do with the ball that counts so 66% possession means nothing really.
 
May have spoken too soon, persisting with the formation with a slight tweak with Lyons and Hamilton on natural sides pushed forward a bit further.
