Apparently Chloe Kelly’s penalty against Nigeria was faster (69 mph I think it was) than any goal scored in the men’s Premier League last season.
The most spectacular penalty I have ever seen I think. She ran up like she was about to do a triple jump and absolutely leathered it into the top corner! Brilliant!

Looking forward to the semi final. Australia have the home advantage and Fowler looks a very good player.

Refs might not be deliberately biased but when you are in a big country and then in a stadium full of that country's fans, there must be something in the back of the human psyche, some kind of protection mechanism built up over tens of thousands of years, that kicks in and results in unintentional bias to a home nation.
