However we may see Lyons, Tharme, Dembele, marve, Beesley & more importantly kouassi, also oakley -booth whounderstand is decent. Worth a watch?

it might well be on BBC radio lancs. gonna be at BLOOMERS on the 28th AGAINST posh. AT least this competition gives our fringe players valuable game time. And we might just go on a humungous CUP run.
 
I'm agin it. It's the thin end of the wedge when the 'super clubs' can use other professional league teams as a trial for their kids.

Or it could be a good measure of our fringe players against PL youngsters who we might bring in to develop on their behalf ie avoid the duffers.

In a way I'm hoping Lyons doesn't play, because if he does then he should have been involved at CA and should be on Saturday.

Yes I see that. My concern is about what happens when we get closer to the thick end of the wedge and 'super club' second teams are invited into the lower leagues, with the Championship rebranded as EPL 2.

I normally attend these games but not against u-21s but will watch it on T/TV though.
 
If Dembele plays he'll show those Liverpool wannabes what star quality really is.

Isnt it about time that Gabriel and/or Joseph got some game time? They seem to have been back on the grass now for ages. If they aren't even ready for a gentle run out in the EFL, I can't imagine that they will be back this year.
 
Which of the dev players would play tonight? They should be the ones transitioning from that squad to the first team.
If they’re not ready then probably not developing enough.
 
Jay Spearing is registered as a youth coach / over-age U-21 player at Lpool and could play at some stage tonight. Played over a hundred games for us.
