I take it you didn't watch the match then. Burnley were excellent defensively. Against the riches of Liverpool and their attack you can't do better than that. Remember Dyche had a load of players leave who wouldn't sign contracts at the start of the season.Burnley have got to be the most boring team to watch, it's the same every game.
Try and keep in 0-0 until the 70th minute and try and score from set piece towards the end.
Their best tactic is winning a free kick 30 yards from goal and hoping for the best.
No more than 2 minutes extra time. Burnley were colossal defensively. An absorbing game to watch for the semi neutralLooking forward to seeing what excuses Klopp comes up with. And where did Mike Dean fnd the extra minute from. 4 minutes added on and he played 5. No time wasting, no subs in that time.
Maybe it’s why Woodburn was recalled....
I was wondering that myself 20s, I’m sure there are some advantages to being a big club, or do we just imagine it.Looking forward to seeing what excuses Klopp comes up with. And where did Mike Dean fnd the extra minute from. 4 minutes added on and he played 5. No time wasting, no subs in that time.
Mike Dean is a bit local too. Surprised he gets Scouse gamesI was wondering that myself 20s, I’m sure there are some advantages to being a big club, or do we just imagine it.
See Chizzy has now set a new radio presenter level of excellence. In future any commentator messing up will be doing a Chizzy. Bit like t.vs David Colemanballs for those old enough to rememberHave you guys heard about the presenter having a mare? He said after the game it is a barnstormer of a game for Barnsley, I know Barnsley and Burnley can easily get mixed up but i have to rewind it 2-3 times it was funny
Dyche said it was exactly that. Criticised him putting 10 men behind the ball.Klopp becoming the new Wenger - pressure starting to mount with his rather bizarre post match interview where he blamed himself repeatedly for the result. I would guess that means that his players are going to get a massive bollocking. The loss of Van Dijk is the season changer for Liverpool and I guess Klopp would have a right to feel sore about that. A spate of injuries has exposed how shallow his squad really is along with a discontented Salah and a mis-firing Firminio. Shaquiri and Origi are not adequate replacements for what he is missing ATM.
It's easy to be generous when you are winning every game, we will now get to see what he is really like. I noticed he was shouting at Dyche as they walked off, probably telling him he hadn't read the script and his team was supposed to roll over.
Agree with your last para. Sums up Klopp perfectly. Very gracious to the opposition when he is beating them but very critical of them when getting beat. I suppose that's what makes him a winner though. My concern from an England pov is the form of TTA. Really rate him and i hope he doesn't turn out to be a player who bursts onto the scene and looks so good but then his form dips and he can't get back to the level he was at.Klopp becoming the new Wenger - pressure starting to mount with his rather bizarre post match interview where he blamed himself repeatedly for the result. Every player is going to have dips in form and it is no surprise that for TTA a personal dip in form coincides with a team dip in form as confidence ebbs away. He is good going forward but defensively is not so great.Agree with your last para. Sums up Klopp perfectly. The other half will be delighted.Half of Fleetwood will be in mourning
I think Henderson has only played 1 game as CB? Could be wrong on that. Matip played last nightEvery player is going to have dips in form and it is no surprise that for TTA a personal dip in form coincides with a team dip in form as confidence ebbs away. IMO playing Henderson at centre back is a large part of Liverpool's problem ATM. Given that he runs further than any other EPL player in a match and is also brilliant at slotting in when a defender makes a forward run, he is a massive loss in a team that plays a pressing game like LFC. And of course teams have worked Liverpool out to an extent, Allardytce and now Dyche just sitting behind the ball for 90 minutes. It is a great season for the neutral, there are about 6 teams who could realistically win the league. Man City favorites for me ATM.
Ok watched a bit of it but didn't pay too much attention. Whatever is happening they are lacking something, I thought Henderson and Fabhinio had partnered in the last few games. Noticed that Fabhinio was at fault for the goal along with no pressure on the ball for the header that preceeded the penalty.I think Henderson has only played 1 game as CB? Could be wrong on that. Yes it's fairly normal for a young player to have a dip in form at some point. Just like it's normal for a team to have a dip in form at some point. I don't see how Liverpool fans can have much to complain about though as it's the first bad patch they've had for 3 seasons. That consistency can't go on forever. City like Liverpool had two seasons of incredible consistency, and even they had a relatively poor season last year. It's virtually impossible to keep that intensity and consistency going over such a long period.Agree with your last para. Sums up Klopp perfectly. Yep agree with that. At the moment it's City for me too. Shows what a lousy tipster I am. Not long back I was saying I expected Liverpool to run away with it again. At this point it is wide open and you could make a strong case for at least four teams to win it and ten there's another three or so who you can't rule out. That's why I love the PL and defend it against it's many critics on here.Every player is going to have dips in form and it is no surprise that for TTA a personal dip in form coincides with a team dip in form as confidence ebbs away. Completely agree that the big reason for recent results is the loss of Dick Van Dijk. He gives them so much more stability and confidence, and it also puts Fabino back in midfield, where is much more suited and has more influence.Klopp becoming the new Wenger - pressure starting to mount with his rather bizarre post match interview where he blamed himself repeatedly for the result. Why don't you give Klopp a ring and give him the benefit of your wisdom? It's easy this football managementCompletely agree that the big reason for recent results is the loss of Dick Van Dijk. The front 3 have been stuttering for a while, to the point they look almost desperate and trying too hard.
I would imagine they will be looking around for a top striker in the next week or so; maybe someone taller as a target man, as they are putting in loads of crosses, with no one able to make any impact, against packed defences full of 6 foot 4 defenders.
I see that boring team have just whipped Fulham’s arse 0-3.Burnley have got to be the most boring team to watch, it's the same every game.

They scored before 70 minutes as well another point you picked up on.1 was a penalty the other two were deep crosses into the box, oh and the team Fulham put out wasn't their first team, I think they made EIGHT changes to the team that played Man U.
I take it you're confident of Burnley banging in goals for the remainder of the season and to then finish mid table?
Well one thing sounds pretty clear to me Burnley certainly is your pet hate club. Here's a couple of more facts to back up the fact that Burnley are a boring team to watch.
In their last 58 league games they've only scored 2 or more in a game THIRTEEN times and failed to score in 20 of those.
It took Blackpool 21 games to score 2 or more in a game 13 times.
If Burnley's style of football floats your boat then I'm delighted for you.
I dislike Burnley to be fair. Too many nights going to their ground and being threatened by Neanderthals. Got a mate who got slashed with a Stanley knife at Turf Moor.Well one thing sounds pretty clear to me Burnley certainly is your pet hate club.
Yeah it was always a 'rough' away day was Burnley. Saw the worst violence I've seen at football where I parked my car on the council estate near the ground. 4 Burnley fans absolutely leathering a pool fan on his own. Thankfully the police saw it and was soon broken up. Poor Pool fan was in a right messI dislike Burnley to be fair. Too many nights going to their ground and being threatened by Neanderthals.
