Liverpool V Real Madrid CL Final match thread.

Embarrassing that those who are defending the scoucers when it's all over Twitter and then calling them bankers get with the program FFS.

Never mind who is to blame. I’m in the Cotswolds. Wolfed my tea down and sprinted to the pub to walk in with my stomach lurching and find its delayed, sound ain’t on and there’s some straw chewing Cotswold “scousers” in with scarves and Replicas on

Would love a Henderson goal for Bendits benefit.

Also, it’s entirely possible it could be both thieving Liverpool fans and dogshit stewards/policing. Not difficult to comprehend it’s a bit of both.

Various journalists have been reporting that the fans at the Liverpool end have been queuing for 2 hours to get in. So there may be something wrong with the entry gates.
There is an outer perimeter entry with tickets and the inner section where the fans are seen running to get to their seats probably because they think they are missing the game as it’s after the normal kickoff time

From the BBC and Twitter news my lad has read, young kids and the elderly were tear gassed by the authorities whilst queueing to get in. Maybe a small minority have misbehaved but a little early to start scouse bashing imo.

“Fans at the Champions League final bear no responsibility for tonight’s fiasco. Thousands are still trapped outside the stadium, remaining calm in the face of a completely unreasonable situation.
We urge the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all fans.”

I'd rather be a wanker than a ticketless piece of scouse scum causing the same problems that they have caused before. Will they ever learn!?

It’s a fuck up with the stadium authority though not the fans.the fans have been waiting to get in for hours

How often has that happened with the old bill and stewards etc

Simon Jones (journalist and author) said that the fans outside weren't told about the kickoff delay as they didn't want to cause a panic.

Andy Kelly (journalist) got in the ground at 2116 local time after getting off the tube at 1830 local.

Agree to a point but it could have been a damn sight quicker if ticketless fans hadn't tried to mingle with those who had tickets And looking at the numbers there, I'd suggest there were a significant number not having a valid ticket. And history shows you it's a common occurrence with ticketless Liverpool fans.
