The thing is he has got a decent end product, somebody will know but off the top of my head i would say he has 4 or 5 goals and 3 or 4 assists to his name. What more do we want! And there have been a few occasions where he has set them up and others have fluffed their chance, i think he has been a good signing. If he has that pace, power AND a final ball he wouldn't be playing in League One!!
No I don't but I'll use my fingers and toes to count next match. No doubt he is an influential player but his final ball quite often disappoints - @Insider - any stats?
I completely agree. The only thing I can put it down to is that during the boycott years they've have been accustomed to watching teams like Pep's Man City which have cost about £500m to put together and expecting all football to be played to the same standard.I'd love to know what people expect of a good league one player. I think he has been a superb signing so far and he must be worth a lot more than we paid for him. I think he will be close to getting in the league one team of the season if he can get 10 plus goals and ten plus assists. He is easily on target to do this and as long as he stays injury free then he should play as much as possible. Lets be honest if some of our other players could finish he could have had double the number of assists. I just dont understand the criticism some of our fans level at him and he is my player of the season so far. I just wish he got more service at times.
I think that is probably because he is a lefty playing on the right, easier to get past the defender and pass one back on the deck with his left than it would be to cross like an old school winger with his right.I don't see him crossing to heads much, more pulling back for the oncoming midfielder/ support player.
Half his problem is having someone to cross to, esp. early on. Only one in the box the %age chances and options are much lower than 3 in the box.

Don’t all modern wingers disappoint when it comes to crossing??? Wingers don’t cross anymore they run at people .. that’s it !!!No doubt he is an influential player but his final ball quite often disappoints - @Insider - any stats?
I agree with you that he should get more service. His crosses arent as bad as some make out and his assists show you that...if he was as good as some people think he should at crossing then he would be playing for a top Premier league side...I doubt we will keep hold of him if he continues the way he is and I could easily see a six figure fee which would be great business for the club. He and Dougall are close for player of the season.Every co-commentator (inc. Brett) wonders why we don't get the ball straight to him. He frightens defences. Managers pick him out as a threat. So yes, we do need to get the ball to him more and...no, his crosses aren't great.
