Bradford. Numb. We've never been as dominant as a side over the course of a season as then. To lose like that was just shocking.
Brentford away in the Riga/Clark season. There was the odd time that season where we competed in games and looked like a poor Championship. The Brentford game (and I'm sure there were others) just showed how much below the level we were. There were players in that game who won't have played league football again, let alone Championship football.
Gillingham away. Dear Old Muggers season. Nothing particularly unusual about the game, but the atmosphere in the away stand was toxic, with a clear divide amongst fans that was boiling over and borderline (and justified) paranoia that we were being filmed by the 'performance team' in order for the Scum to sue more supporters.
Didn't feel too great when my old man keeled over at Huddersfield this season, but we both agreed that the win more than made up for it.
