One cannot help but be utterly captivated by the unfolding drama of this David and Goliath encounter, a veritable parable of our times, played out on the oche.
 
He is remarkable, and to suddenly burst onto the scene as he has is unbelievable, what a tallent.

I used to love playing darts, and played for the Stanley Road WM Club in the seventies. I was very average but now due to arthritis I can't even hit the board in my cellar.😭

He might be one a lot sooner than that Dave.

Win this event and the prize money (£500,000) plus all the sponsorship, TV money, appearance money that will come his way over the next 12 months hey presto a millionaire by the time he’s 18.

Little known fact. If you change the first letter of his surname to H and the first four letters of his forename to ADOLF he morphs onto a well known RWNJ
 
Yeah he’s very good for sure, I think he’ll go on and win it.

Having said that this other Luke in the next semi ain’t bad either.
 
Not generally a dart’s fan or watcher but this lad has certainly got the interest levels raised & I may be forced to watch some of it. It’ll be sensational if he can actually win, but just getting there in itself is a fantastic achievement. Hope he doesn’t suffer too much from nerves.
 
Darts is a fantastic watch when it’s a ding dong battle, like most sports.

I just hope tonight’s final is just that, I noticed last night in the second semi that the crowd were more interested in singing at each other than the game itself but they missed a masterclass from the other Luke.

Yeah I expect Humphries to put him to bed.

And Humphries deserves it. His rise has been sensational this year and he's without doubt the best player in the world. I bet he's quietly happy that Littler is getting all the attention.
 
Don’t follow darts at all but this is making a lot of news coverage. Good luck to him tonight, such a tender age to be achieving at this level 🎯
 
I am absolutely gash at darts. I mean even if you doubled the board size I’d still struggle to get the little feckers anywhere near a treble.
I watch with awe.
