You'd hope, but will we?You'd fuckin hope so! Maybe we could use a bit of imagination and find someone a bit quicker, a bit younger, who scores goals.
Brad Holmes. Forgot about him, what with all the Rob Apter clamour. As has been said we already have 5 striking options and that’s without Brad Holmes. Why on earth would anyone want Madine back?..if he’s a replacement for Rhodes then it’s terrible business and we can wave the play offs god bye..surely our striking order should be
1 Rhodes
2 Joseph
3 Lavery
4 kouassi
5 Beesley
we simply don’t need an ill disciplined non scoring striker .

There's a reason why he's played almost 500 senior games. Why would we want a goalless striker who should be in jail?

Moist Matt?
Kouassi and Lavery out until at least Feb.Do we need him? I'd say our striking options are where we're not lacking:
Joseph, Rhodes, Lavery, Beesley, Kouassi
If it's in preparation for Rhodes leaving, not sure Madine is the right replacement. Our top goal scorer being replaced by Madine who has never been prolific for us, is a year older and coming back from a long term injury..
Only justification I can see is if it's just a case of a cheap, easy signing as he's still in the building and gives us somet different in shithouse Gaz Maz when needed.
From a PR perspective it isn't exactly a massive sign of intent from the board so if it does happen, hopefully it's tempered with more *progressive* signings!
We only have 3 strikers. One is going in Jan and one of them is Beesley. I’m glad most on here haven’t got any impact on the reality at BFC. Fooking clueless. The only way this would happen is if we pick up a couple of more injuries to our strikers which leaves us down to the bare bones. Otherwise, it doesn't say a lot for our recruitment department or ambitions.
Holmes. Needs to look at retraining at a different occupationBrad Holmes. Forgot about him, what with all the Rob Apter clamour.

'Straight in to the development squad...'No way from me
We have moved on, Critch more likely to sign a youngster with potential
Me too. Voyeur used to be a decent poster who I remember from 20+ years ago. Nowadays he's argumentative, bitchy and bitter about something. This poster is now on ignore.
He’s ripped to shredsI f...... w... hope not . The big barrel of lard
He didn’t run away, he made a tactical withdrawal. Can't handle the truth, that's your problem.
Go on, run away, like your hero!
If you wanted the slowest none pressing front two in the division.Could be the perfect partner for Rhodes?
“we don't have anyone else like him.” I suppose Beesley is our new target man who wins a fair share in the air, as did Madine. My opinion only - i think if you got him fit he could be a handy person to have around the squad in the second half of the season, give him a small basic and appearance money and goal bonusses maybe, he would just add another possible dimension to the squad. Depending what happens to Rhodes may have a say on it. What's to lose, other than Kouassi we don't have anyone else like him.
His career goal ratio is one goal every four games. Another year older, coming from a huge injury, having not played a competitive match for months. Nah.
Yeah, probably about 5’2”No way from me

We’ll see.No way is Madine coming back
Would be a cheap option then, as he doesn’t score any goalsMy opinion only - i think if you got him fit he could be a handy person to have around the squad in the second half of the season, give him a small basic and appearance money and goal bonusses maybe, he would just add another possible dimension to the squad.
