Man of the Match

Their goalie or the linesman covering the South Stand half (could we ask for him every week)

CJ had a belter too.

CJ ,back to his best today, that's what we should be doing most games play to his strengths and he will do well and hopefully the pool will benefit, great to hear the fans cheering him instead of the barracking ,at the end of the day it,s the manager that wants him to play there even though he is not the best defender ,

CJ mom for me too. I'm not a fan but credit where credit is due and he was very good today. BUT he has to reproduce todays performance much more often than he has been doing. And he will be helped to do that if Critch plays him as a winger and not a wing back.

The best moment of game changing individual skill was Grimshaws save, persistent thorn in the side was Hamilton but why Wigan weren't aware of the conditions in which he looks good is bizarre, they almost vacated that area of the pitch which allows him to use his attributes. Although his finishing was poor he was a consistent problem for them so man of the match for CJ sounds about right.

CJ was a totally different player today.. I will gladly eat humble pie.
CJ, Rhodes or Casey MoM today for me. Hard to choose really

Rhodes was awesome today; clinical finisher and I was amazed he lasted the full game.

So pleased for CJ; played correctly and threatening. The fans support will have meant a lot to him today!

Grimshaw; brilliant save(s)

Carey; quietly efficient

S lightly o/t but a big shout out for Casey as well been impressed with him all season just gets on with the job and I've forgotten the last mistake he made if he's made one. This match was CJ's IMO.

Just a point on CJ he's actually less than shabby with his right foot and his assist came from a right foot cross.
On the other hand Connolly, who is another Critch favourite, is very one-footed and struggled today with left footed distribution although he more than compensated for that with his defensive strength.

Carey, quietly efficient?
He didn't play!
My two penneth. CJ , Casey and Rhodes all contenders for M o m.
My m o m step forward Jake Beesley, simply awesome!
Looking forward to the Beesley/ Rhodes partnership.

The fact that CJ was deservedly MOTM today proves some people really need to think before they post in future.
A once in a blue moon performance and everything in the CJ garden is rosey.
IF, he continues to put performances in like that I'll eat my words but by my reckoning his next good game will be Peterborough.

Keep up the good work Christopher 👍🏻

I wouldn't say CJ was back to his best, he was much improved, within Critchleys parameters, but I feel his best is when he's fed balls behind the defence and today he was still fed balls in front of the full back for most of the game. Don't get me wrong, I still think he was MOM and did well beating his man consistently but I do feel we still need to get the ball behind to get the very best out of him!

Pedantic, I know, but given the right service, I feel he can terrorise this division!

Is it like one of those blue moons.
Can't wait for the 25-26 season for his next one😉👍🏻
I must be confusing him with someone else because number 22 seems to me to be the only Pool player that caused any danger to the opposition defences ?
Nothing created from the left side of the pitch today.
Hopefully Dembele on one side and CJ on the other will change all that. 🙏

So you didn't see the Dale to Virtue to Dougall, goal danger at the end🤷

Yep, you may well be confused getting all giddy off a CJ performance 😉

Well maybe in the last 10 minutes when all three of them were brought on! 😂
Won’t change my opinion of CJ, I think he’s great for League 1
