Managerial sack race is won by O'Neill

The most frustrating thing about Blackpool’s defeat at the bet365 was how they managed to make Stoke look good, when they clearly aren’t. Don’t think O’Neill can have any complaints personally. Stoke need a progressive manager.

That was a really poor performance that day and a hard one to take!

What are the odds on Stoke sounding out Critchley? What with Gerrard on the ropes and him coming from that area, it might be a goer?

These performances happen, teams don't turn up or turn up on the day. We were very poor that day and still learning how to play, we still are.

We have a new manager playing a new style and a load of injuries so a few defeats early on were likely.

We've had some decent results though - if we hadn't beat Reading they would be top of the league now!

I would nearly feel sorry for Stoke fans having Dyche ball after Pulis and O’Neill..but I don’t because their fans deserve everything they get.
I think Dyche will be like many managers who have great success at one club but fail to repeat it elsewhere tbh.

I think Alex Neil has been backed by the owners and fetched quite a few players in. Must be more money and closer to home and a longer contract than a one year rolling contract
