Matt Hancock - you naughty boy!

He's not the first, won't be the last, and I thought all aides were hired with taxpayers money, so why is that relevent?

However, he's a very naughty boy.

Perhaps it questions his professional judgement when hiring aides? Self interest in the use of taxpayers money?!

I apologise if I'm wrong, but you're not supposed to shag about during a lockdown, you're especially not supposed to shag about during a lockdown when you're the Health Minister telling people not to shag about during a lockdown. Specifically you're not supposed to shag about during a lockdown after you said the following when a scientific advisor to the government quit his role after shagging about during a lockdown.

'Health Secretary Matt Hancock said it was "extraordinary" and that he "took the right decision to resign".
He told Sky News that it was "just not possible" for Prof Ferguson to continue advising the government.
Mr Hancock said the social distancing rules "are there for everyone" and are "deadly serious".'

I think it goes a little further than 'he's a very naughty boy'.

Oh and the 'problem' with this aide being hired with taxpayers money is that she is also a director and major shareholder at lobbying firm Luther Pendragon who's clients have won major Covid contracts. Oh and also, Hancock is shagging her, during a lockdown.

THIS.

He's a weasel.

Can’t take the credit for this but saw this on Twitter earlier and the screenshot won’t send....

Matt Hancock defence speech

“On Thursday evening after a successful day of saving lives and protecting the NHS, I walked in to my office to see Gina choking on a throat swab from our world beating test and trace kits. I immediately tried to dislodge it with my tongue to save her life…”

Boris has managed to survive so I'm sure he will. Being branded useless at your job by your boss and then having an affair plastered all over the papers would cause most people to have a crisis/lose their job, but Hancock and other Tories are not like that, the robotic public school persona means they just keep sailing on.

I think people saying that loads have had affairs and got away with it are missing the point about having an affair DURING LOCKDOWN WHILE YOU'RE THE HEALTH SECRETARY.

There, I wrote it in capitals for easier reading.
(Whilst telling people not to hug their gran.)

Could just put that bit in brackets rather then CAPS.

What difference does that make?

We've all been allowed to socialise within groups for ages... Millions of people have been engaging in new relationships during that time.... He's fine spending all day in this persons company, OK travelling in a car with her, OK to be sat with her in the office all day, but not OK to have an affair?

The picture was taken on the 6th May, intimate contact outside of your household was only lifted on the 17th May.

So he's broken the rules he's been responsible for implementing as a government minister, when Ferguson did the same thing last year Hancock backed the police becoming involved.

If this is acceptable to people than so be it, you get the government you deserve.

Ah right 6th of May.... Fair enough.. I wonder why they have only just been published?

Well if he's broke the lockdown rules then that's a different matter I suppose.... He's still gone up in my estimation though as I thought he was a bit of a wet lettuce before this...

Someone's definitely got the knives out, it's probably unwise to be in the wrong side of Cummings for example but Hancock does keep giving them a load of ammunition.

Maybe that's where the anomisty comes from, the PM's adviser heard Hancock screaming something in his office and misheard it as 'Cummings is a tit'.

Gone up in your estimation?
For cheating on his wife and kids?

Cummings / Gove 🤔

You’re right on the ammunition front… I mean fancy getting caught on camera. In fairness he deserves potting for being so gormless.

Yes… Have you seem his wife… ?

I know you’re trying to make his affair seem worse with the hyperbole, but he hasn’t ‘cheated on his kids’.

What a disgrace Hancock is . How will his wife and 3 children be feeling this morning . He should be sacked immediately by Boris
but won't . Or resign! but again won't.
How long can this government continue to force the people in this country to abide by
draconian rules whilst ministers break them with impunity .
Well whilst Johnson was shagging Arcuri and cheating on his wife and then shagging his current wife while still married to the one he cheated on with with Arcuri, sacking Hancock for the same thing would make our wonderful Prime Minister something of a hypocrite and we can’t have “The Super Soaraway Sun” saying that now can we.

It also would make large portions of the population also feel hypocritical by trembling with moral outrage at this, it happens all the time and people continue in their jobs without being answerable to anyone other than their own conscience - except Johnson who doesn’t have one of course!

Boris accepted his apology and says the matter is now closed 🤨. You might think so Boris, but I doubt the opposition parties and media will let it go.

He would wouldn't he!!!

In addition a senior Tory MP has admitted to serious sexual assaults on a number of his staff and colleagues.

However, he's apologised to the Prime Minister so everything's now all right and the Prime Minister says this matter is closed as well.
