Matt Hancock - you naughty boy!

Hancock had some ripe words regarding Professor Ferguson's breaking of social distancing rules. Will they come back to haunt him or is he another teflon tory?

I’am no Tory but can’t say I'am bothered in what people do with their private lives that’s why there called private.

Hancocks done a sterling job in the Covid vaccination programme and sacking him for something so trivial would have no benefit whatsoever.

I bet 50% of Government/high profile people have all been naughty at some point but some are a lot cleverer than others so never get caught.

As for the Sun.....................gutter press.

The World At One played MH's interview after Ferguson was caught. It was cringeworthy then, but now if he stays he's a hippo. Truss said he'd broke no rules 2 hours before MH said, err.....I broke the rules. Talk about rats protecting rats.

Feel sorry for his wife and kids this will be difficult for them, but that is the business of Hancock and his family.
Where I have a problem is when a lobbyist gets a job as the Health Ministers aide when the government has been chucking money at friends and acquaintances and people that might do them a favour in the future, all the way through the pandemic!!
 
What a knob, not necessarily for having an affair and breaking covid rules and possibly being compromised on contracts, but for being ** caught by his own office cctv camera.....
 
Personally think we should cut him some slack. Whether you think he’s done a good job isn’t the issue here but it’s undeniable he’s worked extremely hard these past 18 months so stress, lack of sleep etc etc He’s had a moment of madness which I’d primarily put down to stress and he just wanted a release and some available slapper obliged. Think the guy deserves a break.

What does a Tory minister have to do these days to lose their job? Strangle puppies in reception classes?

Back in the day if there was even a whiff of something untoward they'd resign and that was that. Boris and his gang don't seem to have any ** shame at all and literally do whatever they like unchallenged.

What makes me laugh is when we normal folk go out and do something, we get into trouble and when the government do something, the law turns a blind eye to it! This is why we can’t trust the government and truth be told I wouldn’t even trust them to run a social club. What a disgrace 😡

May this year apperently, after stay at home law had been removed and on the road out of all restrictions, somewhat different to the situation last year and comparisons are misleading.

I'm left wondering what exactly the f*** is going on, how is this finding it's way into the press? Who is leaking CCTV footage from inside a government department? And what criminal offences have they committed?

He’s been banging on (no pun intended) for months and months about what we should be, and not be doing
An apology doesn’t come close. If he doesn’t fall on his sword, he’s an even bigger self serving git than I thought he was, and may well have the negatives of Boris, that are keeping him in a job.

Right, so Hancock breaks his own social distancing rules, at the time of this video you weren't allowed to even hug anyone outside of your household, undermines all the efforts of social distancing, all the jobs, businesses, public money it's cost, all the people dying alone in hospital and care homes, all the missed diagnosis, the loneliness and heartache because he can't keep it in his pants, but according to you it's the person who leaked the video who's the real villain?

Just for clarity, is that what you're suggesting?
