?Tin hat here!
To you t@ssers who tossed Keogh aside
Mom again for me
Neil Warnock's ribs - it sounded like he explodedHuman?
It was a signing that made a lot of sense to me. Newly promoted and looking to get a foothold in a division in which he has well over 400 appearances in. I don't think he'll end the season a first team regular personally but he will help the younger players adjust to the higher level. After an inauspicious start at Pool I think Keogh has settled in and improved. Age has taken his pace but he does other things well.
UghHuman?
No, takeaway on impulse, very niceSo have we. From Aldi by any chance?
Other way round at times old Layton!
Were you there?
If so I’ll totally accept ur opinion
If not, as I’m sure you will agree, you see it differently live!!?
If the latter then you should give ur head a wobble and please stay away
So, like me, you missed the seco...Goal Action!.....Well done players, management & the noisiest supporters in the Championship - yet again you came across brilliantly on 103.9.
From Woody's comments - well done Richard Keogh for responding positively to criticism & even ridicule from one or two supporters.
Note: Never write a player off who wears tangerine & our manager selects
ive held back about commenting on him, i dont like having a go at our own players. but today i was literally screaming at the screen every time he got the ball. 9 times out of ten there is somebody available to make a forward pass to, but he holds on to it for so long that the opposition get to close down the opening. in some respects i think its why Marv made quite a lot of mistakes with his distribution in the first half. he makes decent interceptions and his thru ball from the free kick was sublime, but he drags any momentum out of the teamYou're a well reasoned poster Costero so your comments about Keogh concern me. I was listening on Lancs and the pundit (Ayre?) tore him to pieces in the first half but was appreciative in the second.
apart from their goal of course, there were at least four players offside, but ill agree he was a shit refMy many Boro friends are really complaining how the ref never gave them anything particularly Hernandez who was allegedly fouled constantly.
The great thing about early season wins, means we go up automaticallyThe great thing about these early season wins is that, with so many young players playing for the first time at this level, they are going to keep learning and improving throughout this season so any wins now feel like bonuses as there will likely be more wins in the second half of the season than the first.
I can see where you are coming from - I also get frustrated, but I do wonder if the view on TV / Terraces can be misleading from what he can see at pitch level? Maybe I’m being too forgiving? I think on balance he is an asset to the club and, even at his advanced years, I have no questions about his commitment- which is a big plus for me.ive held back about commenting on him, i dont like having a go at our own players. but today i was literally screaming at the screen every time he got the ball. 9 times out of ten there is somebody available to make a forward pass to, but he holds on to it for so long that the opposition get to close down the opening. in some respects i think its why Marv made quite a lot of mistakes with his distribution in the first half. he makes decent interceptions and his thru ball from the free kick was sublime, but he drags any momentum out of the team

Spare me.Don't let people here make fun of you..... It's not nice being ribbed!!
Warlock complaining! Well fuck me, there's a surprise! You lost! Get over it or are you making Middlesbrough the Sunderland of The Championship? TosserWarnock complaining it wasn’t a free kick leading up to the goal, the defender had his arms around Marv’s waist even as he scored..
Id say Middlesbrough aren't as good as sunderlandWarlock complaining! Well fuck me, there's a surprise! You lost! Get over it or are you making Middlesbrough the Sunderland of The Championship? Tosser
I think the reason he often goes sideways is that he's very right footed but plays on the left side. Makes the dink down the line a bit harder to do. I like what I'm seeing from old Blakey though - good solid leaderWith Marv along side he looks good. The reason he passes back or side ways is because the midfield don't make themselves available for the ball which was the same last season ( the midfield not Keogh obviously)
You inspired me to order ribs from Dixieland Chicken tonight! First time for years. Bloody lovely too. Thanks!I so friggin happy, I’ve been and bought ribs

Oh ayeWell done, great result for you guys. 6pts from Fulham & Boro - fair play! Looking forward to the derby in a few weeks ;-)
That was a tremendous read. Thankshttps://mclfoot.blogspot.com/2021/09/the-screaming-joy-of-richard-keogh.html
The usual over long match blog for thems what are into such things. Very happy
I parked in town centre and it wasnt so bad getting away. Walk back was a bit old skool but it was weird how the boro fans were split between complete scrotes, goading people and others just chatting and going "ignore our knobheads"Fabulous day, getting out of the car park was a disaster, couldn’t turn right for some reason, god knows what it’s like with a full stadium, loads of knot heads about causing trouble. Great day though.
AND Warnock conveniently omitted to comment on their offside goal.Warnock complaining it wasn’t a free kick leading up to the goal, the defender had his arms around Marv’s waist even as he scored..

Exactly. He has no left foot, which is one reason we had 58/42 poss FH. Ball comes inside and slowly slowly before The Great Defender Ball Giveaway happens.I think the reason he often goes sideways is that he's very right footed but plays on the left side. Makes the dink down the line a bit harder to do. I like what I'm seeing from old Blakey though - good solid leader
