Most goals you've seen in a game of football?

Not read all replies so apologise if its been mentioned

I seem to remember beating Ft Lauderdale Strikers 10 -0 around 1975? with a certain Gordon Banks in nets...

Also, we beat T'Rovers 5-3 one week, the next we beat Orient 5-3, were second in the old second division, then got relegated the same season....
30 yrs.... you know the rest...

But my first game... The mighty 5 Watford 0 about 1969/70?
That’s a good shout. I remember the Fort Lauderdale game well, with Banksy in goal for them, sadly with only one functional eye by then! We certainly won comfortably, but my memory isn’t telling me quite as many as 10 goals? If it was, that would take my highest up by a goal, assuming friendlies count.

‘Twas Jan 71-72 - I think a young Steve Sherwood was in nets ! They got relegated and fell apart last 20 mins - they beat us early in the season 1-0 at Vicarage !

Malcolm Hill scored two v Lanerossi

Two things stuck out - the most extraordinary OG I have ever seen - 25yard volley that screamed into the Kop end and was their sub Rossi the famous Paulo Rossi - I think he was

Seen a few 5-3's etc and the 7-1

6-3 at Swansea is the highest for me

Think I was also at the 5-4 in 1979 but memories fade
The 5-4 was v Brentford at home
Spence and Kellow days - I think Tony Kellow scored 4 - every time we scored 2nd half they got one back from Yahweh kick off !

They also substituted their keeper shortly into the 2nd half at 6-0 I think - he got a great reception from our Kop fans and his first touch was out the back of the net and his 2 nd touch the same !

Hmmm, not sure about that? Andy Brockbank definitely got a late goal in a 2-1 defeat at Deepdale early 80's, FA cup game I think. Must have been Gordon Simmonite if Brockbank only got one goal for us.
And an absolute stunner it was, just a shame it was a mere consolation.
