Hate to single out just one player in a performance like that... but Gabriel for me. So many good clearances/ headers/ passes.
I thought Husband was just as good too.Hate to single out just one player in a performance like that... but Gabriel for me. So many good clearances/ headers/ passes.
Agreed. Also... Ekki! How many blocks?!?!?I thought Husband was just as good too.
like I said... hate to single anyone out. So many good performances today but for me Gabriel was definitely the stand outdont forget grimshaw
And to think that Forest could do with a few more players of his quality and commitment. Bargain!Jordan getting better every week.
We’ve got a cracking squad and it cost us buttons
Husbands distribution lets him down at timesI thought Husband was just as good too.
Harsh!Husbands distribution lets him down at times
Not really. If we're ģoing up, he needs to improve. Gabriel had a great game and was a step up.Harsh!
Worth a goal that today by Grimmy.dont forget grimshaw
Don't really agree. Gabriel played well but is positionally slack/learning, for me. Has great potential. Too much space out there for Sheff today, too often, Gabriel out of position..Not really. If we're ģoing up, he needs to improve. Gabriel had a great game and was a step up.
As aboveDon't really agree. Gabriel played well but is positionally slack/learning, for me. Has great potential. Too much space out there for Sheff today, too often, Gabriel out of position..
Voy, he got no help from Bowler, same v Forest. Jordan covers inside as he should, but Bowler just won’t track. Numerous times today, including one shocker when he watched the LB run past him into the box. Contrast to Mitchell when he came on, who sprinted to get back behind the ball and cover.Gabriel played well but his positional awareness is dodgy too often for me. They had men free out left too often.
We have a squad and a brilliant coachDon't really agree. Gabriel played well but is positionally slack/learning, for me. Has great potential. Too much space out there for Sheff today, too often, Gabriel out of position..
Yet their main danger came down our left, their right, possibly because Husband didn't get that much support from Anderson, to be fair.Don't really agree. Fair point about Bowler, but Gabriel has stuff to learn about positioning.Voy, he got no help from Bowler, same v Forest. Jordan covers inside as he should, but Bowler just won’t track. Numerous times today, including one shocker when he watched the LB run past him into the box. Contrast to Mitchell when he came on, who sprinted to get back behind the ball and cover.
On the other side it was Keshi helping Hubby.
Jordan is an exceptional prospect, learning, clearly loves the club and will only get better. We need to be solid all over and for me, Bowler is too much of a luxury with poor decision making and little composure. Keshi showed the way with that finish, Bowler had 2 or 3 of those at Hull and…
Mitchell and Keshi for me, with Bowler and Dale off the bench when needed.
Indeed we do.We have a squad and a brilliant coach
Gabriel played well, but Voy, you're right. He seemed very narrow throughout the game, at least when defending. Not the first time, either. I'm wondering, perhaps deludedly, if it isn't a deliberate tactic. If so, it's a very risky one.Don't really agree. Gabriel played well but is positionally slack/learning, for me. Has great potential. Too much space out there for Sheff today, too often, Gabriel out of position..
He played well but at times I wondered where he was, just being honest. Lots of positives in his performance though.Gabriel had the best 90 minutes of any Blackpool player!
Plays with his heart maybe needs to use his head a bit more. It will mean he doesn't have to run around as much if nothing else. But he does give it everything he's got!He played well but at times I wondered where he was, just being honest. Lots of positives in his performance though.
Did you knock over your pint?
Totally agree ,with Keogh getting a special mention too.Hate to single out just one player in a performance like that... but Gabriel for me. So many good clearances/ headers/ passes.
Was'nt that muchAll that guff about how Gabriel couldn't defend. The lad is class. £650k is theft.
Yeah more like half a mil? Absolute bargain for under a mil. We'll have the opportunity to sell him for that a few times over. Was'nt that much
Just like we saidYeah more like half a mil? Absolute bargain for under a mil. We'll have the opportunity to sell him for that a few times over.
I'll take up the offer and disabuse you.Dare I mention Keogh? I was listening on Lancs and the reception wasn't good. Anyway, from what I heard, he was getting in the way and not playing well. Very happy to be disabused about this
